I once had perforated gutter guards and they did everything they were supposed to except for one thing. I have a lot of trees around my house and one of them drops these long narrow keys that look like darts at the end and they will become embedded in the holes of the gutter guard and the only way to remove them is to pull them out. Now perhaps over time they will eventually sink into the gutter and wash away, I don't know. Any thoughts?

Why is it okay to break the seal of a shingle on the outer side to insert the Gutter Guard brand product? Especially in an area that gets hurricanes, I can't believe that it is okay to loosen a shingle by prying one side of it loose from the roof, in order to insert the product.

I have had the amerimax on for years and they are perfect a I get tons of pine needs and with the vinyl amerimax with screen the needle blow off with the wind. They are perfect and easy to install.

I have this exact gutter guard with a metal roof. It can't handle even a light rain. I have 6 inch gutters. Frankly, its a bit of a joke for my application.

We've had our vinyl gutters for 20 years & I still love them. Easy to clean & never need paint.

First of all, all these systems are overpriced, insanely priced. there is no system in the market that does not require maintenance. You can buy whatever you want. You still gonna have to do some maintenance to clean that system.

I installed vinyls in my home. They look good and coast a fraction of what a professional would have charged me. No thanks.

I used 3 leaf stopper products. 1. solid metal perforated , 2 foam gutter fillers , 3 filter leaf guards. The perforated metal is still in the same condition for 5 years. I replaced the foam fillers with perforated metal because after 3 years the foam compacted with dirt and mold deteriorating and causing freezing ice dams. I replaced the filtered leaf guards after 4 years with perforated metal leaf guards because the suns UV rays turns the filter into powdery filter material.

Boy, that deck looks like he just put a sealant on it and looks like cause ladders to slide. Also, your idea of putting sandbags where ladder won’t slide.

why did you put the gutter over the drip edge and not behind it?

My gutters are leaking from behind. water drips off the shingle rolls under it and behind the gutter. how do you slip the gutters under the drip edge when the hidden fasteners need to clip over the back of the gutter ?

I bought gutter guards from Costco 248 running feet for about $600 for material and highered some one to install them for another $600 , $1200 total and part of the house is 2 story save a lot of money buy from Costco,home Depot, Lowe's, online ect. There are other company's who install gutters and various brands of gutter guards.

My Gutter Helmets are clogged one year in. They told me today I am supposed to have them cleaned by Gutter Helmet once a year. Nothing anywhere says that. All literature says maintenance free, never clogs. One panel was bent. He wanted to replace multiple sections. He told me to turn it over to my homeowners insurance. I overheard the worker say that they had tightened it down too much during installation. Don't buy Gutter Helmet! They aren't worth it!

Total scam - Forget all the gutter guards / leaf filters and fabricate a gutter cleaning tool using pvc pipe and a ball valve for under $50. 1 - 5' length of pvc 1- 90° elbow 1 - 6" length of pvc 1 - 90° elbow 1 - 3" length of pvc 2 - threaded adapters so the final configuration is a straight pipe with a "U" shape at the top attach ball valve between hose and bottom of straight pipe using the two threaded adapters attach to hose close the valve turn water on hold up and over gutter regulating downward water pressure stream with ball valve handle

Don’t be fooled insides are clean but piles of debris stuck on top have to clean off by ladder multiple times every year.

Aluminum is not as good as vinyl. You got cheap aluminum gutters at Dollar General along with those oversized womans sunglasses. Go back to your job at Jack N the Box.

They both suck! They have the same crappy warranty! You should not have to clean a gutter guard! You put it on and forget it.

Bull, it is the best thing going. Used it for many years and it works great. None of the others are worth the money. Sure you have to clean the gutters like all the rest. The top is still open to remove water, when others stop the water from going through. Water goes over the side. Water will still flow over when it is raining so hard the downspout is full.
