Not just bad, abysmal. Not just laughable, risible. Worth watching if you want to see just how pisspoor this genre of cinema can get. The British late 60s/early 70s at their shaggin', swingin', cheap 'n' nasty worst. Best watched after several beers with a mate or two solely so you can take potshots at it, and thank God films this genuinely naff are as rare as they are.

@@J2020-sv3fq it's not a masterpiece but I felt this movie was pure entertainment and that's good enough for me. Also predates Get Carter in its absolutely gritty atmosphere.

This is the remade cover version for video releases since the BBC didn't have the rights to use the original song past the original broadcasts. I wish they would've done the entire song, though.

@@erichammond9308 True, but they would never use the whole song at once. Heck, they never used the whole original -- listen to the original radio show, you'll hear that they used different bits of the song for the end credits, and sometimes for the opening. Every version I've seen or heard that used this cover always went to that high arpeggio bit before fading out, since they didn't create this version separately from the music cue it segued right into.

So is this the map of 1951 but technically in 1945? Cause the burned factory is from the 50s and so are the billboards and I think the house colours are slightly different
