Lowest quality plucker on the market. Works only a few times then it's done because water gets in everything. This is why you see so many repair videos. Don't buy their poorly designed, poorly constructed products.

When we were growing up we plucked by hand. Now, we adult siblings get together at the farm of my brother, who has a Yardbird. Makes it so fast and easy. I highly recommend.

My parents raised 12 kids on a Mixed-Farm during the ‘40’s thru to the ‘70’s, back when animals were naturally Organic and kids knew hard work. Mom raised about 150 chicks, every year. Half were roosters, raised only for their meat, and just to ‘butchering age’ every year. Those roosters were butchered in groups of about 10 birds a day, until finished, then she butchered hens when past their prime in groups as required. It was all manual plucking by her and her 10 fingered daughters 🤣(a day’s-long process!). With four gals and a mom, each with their job, it was a smelly and tedious task, repeated weekly, in the Fall. I am sending your ‘link’ to every one of them interested in raising their own chickens. Raising them is relatively easy, it’s the plucking that’s the worst! It’s laborious, smelly and time consuming; the very worst part of the entire process! We, ‘kids’ are all over age 60 now, and look back on those awful days without fond memories. But to the brilliant inventor of the “Chicken Plucker,” I give a huge “Thank You!” We needed this “Chicken-Plucker” then, and believe me, it’s needed by millions of farmers TODAY!
