Its so hard to find good footage of Ellis for some reason, i cant even find his world record vert drop on youtube. This editing was art and AC/DC being from Australia too makes it all the better.

Used to come down with CCS and skate the Quarter Master Cup contest every year with some trips in-between. Stayed the night there one year and slid down the 16' in our sleeping bags lol!

Dude why he always throws off on himself drives me nuts. He doesnt realize how good he was. Heck he was the only Powell guy I ever pulled for. In the 80s Lance was more popular than any other skater period even more than Tony or Hosoi or any of those guys.

I skated with Lance back in 1988 when I visited California. I was living in Seattle Washington at the time. He was so cool and funny to be around.

Wow, this is great! A true gem. This is how skateboard videos should be made. It makes me sad that PP doesn't make skate videos like this anymore. Bones Brigade videos have ben replaced by stupid videos on You Tube of Dan Corrigan mostly talking. It's just sad we don't get new skate videos like this anymore. 😔

what a gift - Frankie, Mike V, insane Ray B and all of this punctuated space in skateboarding. I mean, Frankie still might have one the raddest big ollies in the game... as always, the edit is just so sick. it's like eating at an old favorite restaurant, or old favorite town or face...
