Why you always opening fuel tank ? And don't you need just start and let it idle first tank ? and then slowly increase gas in second tank
@ashermorales8276 Жыл бұрын
They’re using a full throttle break in method. By running the engine stupid rich you can limit the engines rpms to pretty much be equal to a high idle while holding the the throttle wide open and you’ll go through a tank of gas in 3-4 minutes instead of 15. If you watch and listen closely you’ll notice that each time the engine’s rpm drops down because it’s loading up with fuel, so he opens the tank lid which takes away the back pressure of the pipe and pushes less fuel into the engine which brings the rpms back up and keeps the engine from dying. This is a great way to break in an engine quickly, but it is definitely not the easiest way to break in an engine. You constantly have to be listening and adjusting things to make sure the engine’s rpm isn’t too high or too low, and for me, I like to wrap aluminum foil around the engine head and keep a heat gun on it throughout the whole tank since the engine tends to run really cold using this method, so that means I have to hold my transmitter in one hand holding full throttle and swap between my tuning screwdriver, heat gun, and temp gun in the other. Every engine I’ve broken in like this has fully broken in within a half-gallon. I do 5 tanks at full throttle, 5 tanks driving around, and then 5 tanks on the track. After that, it’s pretty much ready for a race tune

@@ashermorales8276 Thank you for reply, i thought after for years only using nitro's i learned everything, but i see im still rookie 🙂, never knew of this method of break in, but i think breaking in will be beter starting from 16% then 20% and finishing 25% then it gives longest engine life

I honestly don't understand why the WRC car gets so much hate. Lutz and Cav have both made that car look awesome, not to mention drivers like Chris Marrant have had nothing but positive things to say.

We need the world to know what we do! On road is dying in the USA. Need to make it cheaper to race (kits / parts/ new RTR class) and profitable for tack owners so they will invest in it. If there are no tracks then there will be no more rc racing. Let’s all do our part. Everyone needs to introduce a young person to racing, we are all getting older.

This looks unreal. 1/8 on road really is the pinnacle of rc technology. Shout out to Ben Wallace and your team mates, members,staff,and company. Loved watching you play ball in the early 2000’s and I’m happy you found your niche after sports and continue to promote, in my opinion, the best hobby in the world.
