I did my masters in public policy in Germany (2 years of working experience in humanitarian sector in my home country) but still struggling a lot to get the associate policy analyst at OECD. Do they only hire the nationals from their movement countries? I am from a small country in Central Asia.
@IO-Ready2 күн бұрын
Congratulations on finishing your Masters degree in Germany! That is a fantastic achievement! Without knowing your nationality is is quite difficult for me to answer. You can work at the OECD in 3 instances (on different types of contracts) - have a look if any of them are relevant to your case: 1) if your country is a member state of the OECD (you can check it here: www.oecd.org/en/about/members-partners.html) 2) if your country is a key partner of the OECD 3) if the OECD has a project on a particular region and has exceptions in terms of hiring, for example at OECD SWAC (www.oecd.org/en/about/directorates/sahel-and-west-africa-club.html) where certain non-OECD member nationalities can join on a particular type of contract. Good luck with your applications and thank you for your contribution! Wiola

Such an inspiring video! It's great to hear about your path and the challenges along the way - it really is a breath of fresh air. I completely relate to what you mentioned about determination and discipline - it was through working hard, taking additional courses after school and then doing multiple internships alongside my university studies that helped me break into this field of work. And, of course, Wiola's career coaching course, which is just what you need to get you on the right path! Looking forward to your next video :)
