Clearly EK fast, a brilliant winger...a dreadful defender, as seen v GH a few times, when v Hendy & Sing plowing through her. Let's get them on the same side.

Great to see Helena back in time for the 6 nations. Adds to the amazing strength that the Red Roses have at centre! How do you choose 2 starters from Tatyana Heard, Emily Scarratt, Meg Jones and Helena Rowland?

The Welford Road game placed first because TNT was there? Much the least dramatic of the four. The others were belters.

Some great rugby played here girls, you did yourselves proud! This bulletin should be an good hour though, with longer devoted to all the games to show more than just the tries. And after-match discussions and interviews would really showcase the stand-out performances.

Brilliant, brilliant game, but it should never have been so nailbiting, because the Millie Driver "try" was never grounded. Dear commentators, you told us why Ilona Maher wasn't playing, but don't you realise that she is a social media star unknown to most rugby fans. Meanwhile we all know who Abby Dow is and that she plays for Trailfinders, but know mention of why she is not playing. Same for Jess Breach, no mention of why she isn't playing for Saracens. If internationals are missing from a game, especially red roses players, it's worth telling the audience.

Fantastic game for a neutral to watch, nail-biting if you're a supporter. The Millie David brain-fart (what was she thinking) leading to her (non) try was epic.

A great contest marred (again)by very poor refereeing.And one has to ask what is the point of touch judges who never see anything.This unfair for the ladies game.

QUSTION why does womens Rugby Union have male refs and line judges? i am new to the sport and would like to know
@danzz9116 күн бұрын
There are significantly more male referees and line judges - refs & lino's are randomly selected, so the odds are they will mostly be male due to ratio's but there are plenty of female officials. Definitely need more though
@Pete_T_M4 күн бұрын
There's a bunch of really talented female refs but most seem to have been pinched to ref the men's game. Holly Wood did ref the Leicester v Loughborough Lightning PWR game last weekend

That ref's a bit dodgy. It's ridiculous that he gave Bristol the dropped non-try before checking any evidence. Hope he's reprimanded for that. He showed bias towards Bristol throughout the match - right to the very end. Kept dishing out penalties against Trailfinders for anything and everything.

Although she's not one of the scorers, The Harlequins try offers yet another illustration of Ellie Kildunne's brilliance: her break is sinuous and lethal, and then she has the vision and presence of mind to put that perfect grubber kick on a plate for Peña.
