I own a yuu, bell and hoshi arashi. I prefer the hoshi arashi and kind of dislike the bell. (Both when listening to it, as playing it.) In all honesty, the bell is harder to play for me, and basics like the holes and spacing seem off/poorly made. Also the holes are rather on the large side. It doesn't seem like many share my opinion/taste though. :) Of course the bell is more like a jinashi and the hoshi arashi is more like a jiari. Have to keep that in mind. Also, the embouchure for the yuu and hoshi arashi are closer to each other then the bell. Maybe I just got a faulty one, who knows...

I own a bell as my first but I find it quite difficult to get a consistent sound and the tuning seems to be off when I checked it but maybe it's just me. I look forward to getting a hoshi arashi.

@@rafa.1129 I like the hoshi arashi, as I've mentioned. The only downside I can think of is that it's rather heavy, but the weight is evenly distributed though.
