Korea laughs at China for failing in Shanghai only to get absolutely clapped and booted out of groups at VCT Worlds is just... pure poetry tbh, all while EDG stomped through the Winner's Bracket and smashed Team Heretics in the most epic finals ever. Tbh not even Chinese fans would predict a Chinese team to win VCT Worlds in a dominant fashion, and what was even more shocking is that Korea got absolutely slaughtered and given the boot so early. What goes around comes around I guess, and I reckon Korean fans will never be laughing again atleast until their team ATLEAST makes the Winner's Bracket Finals at VCT Worlds. And all the memes about "Shanghai Library" are now being deleted en masse I reckon, as Korean fans go hiding in the caves for the next 6 months. PRX's ghost though can rest in peace now as their brother EDG has gotten revenge and brought the ultimate trophy to APAC at last.

Madrid out of top 3 teams two were pacific, shanghai geng won prx top 6, Unlike last geng and prx dont get time to rest, last year there was lcq but now they dont get any break and they have to play an entire regional tournament. It took the most toll on geng for playing all the finals of every single possible tournament. Moreover the bad scheduling also doesn't give teams chance to prep well and try different comps, so mostly the problem is the schedule.

I think we all knew that apart from Gen G pacific teams weren't looking all that great going into champs. And Gen G had their worst performance of the year in the most important game of the year.
