Is it comparable to the Yamaha HS8?

I can hear the AMP rattling on the back, and this isn't "low bass". The lowest note is 40Hz. Not very much conearea, so not really worth it. When getting PA Subwoofers it's smart to look at the manufacturer sheet to see the frequency range (some manufacturers are idiots and say things that isn't true), look at the output if you are interested in max SPL. Also no need to "listen on a good system" because KZbin compresses the audio, so major quality loss + the sound is not as good as in real life either way, best to hear in real life.

How good are these small speakers?

This place is super nostalgic to me. Despite the memories being slightly vague I do just about remember the place when it was John Lewis. I was only 6 when they moved out of the George Henry Lee building and over to Liverpool One. So I’m probably quite lucky to even remember any of it at all tbh. I know that you mentioned that you couldn’t find many pictures of the inside of the building online, especially from back when it was John Lewis. I dug deep in the depths of the internet and Flickr albums a couple of months ago and I actually managed to find quite a few. Some of them are photos of areas I actually remember from in the store from when I was little. I’m more than happy to share these photos of the place if you want, my email is in the description of my channel if you want to reach out. Seeing all these recent video’s about this place is actually inspiring me to make my own documentary on the place and doing an upload to KZbin. Where I can mention a lot about my personal experiences and memories of the place too. I know it’s in a right state now but 15 years ago this place was in mint condition. I did decline slightly while Rapid was in there, but John Lewis did a good job keeping this place maintained when I was little.
