yeah ORBX Melbourne has terrible performance, I actively avoid flying into Melbourne because of how bad it is. I’ve been landing so lazily lately - usually around 400fpm. I feel like I almost lost the knowledge to properly flare because I lazily land and try to pull off a crazy flare at the end. This video helped me realize what I’m doing wrong. You never really when pulled the nose up. it appears your nose is down at all times and you still managed to land with low fpm. You powered down at the perfect time too. When landing, I usually end up too high when around 0.2NM distance from the runway. I see you’re “below” the glideslope and whenever I see that I know the landing will be fine, but it sort of discourages me to go lower. Does the glideslope stop descending once it hits minimums? I can’t tell you how many flights I’ve heard “sink rate” once or twice when saving a high approach. I can save sink rates and even butter them sometimes, but it’s not ideal. Thanks, yeah one key thing particular with the approach is to keep it flying towards the runway. I have the issue sometimes where my rate of descent isn't enough and with more practice the better you'll get better at it. Generally on a 3 degree glideslope you want to have around 700fpm down the approach and with a precision approach like an ILS I'm only looking at the instruments. At 200ft I transition from looking at the instruments to my aiming point on the runway and then maintain that rate of descent and obviously make necessary corrections. From 100ft I'm looking at the far end of the runway, then at 30ft I'll raise the nose a few degrees and move the throttles to idle at 20ft.

It has it own replay tool. Use that and use Nvidia G Force to record it. Works well.

Each approach in this video is an ILS and I just follow that down to the runway. When on the runway I use the rudder to keep it in the middle of the runway.
