You are dealing with them from a barber’s perspective. I am just a scrub that bought these to bald me out quickly. That is about it. If I have to zero gap them , I will if they are not all ready. If they can accomplish that, then I am basically satisfied. However, I guess that you returned yours since you didn’t sound happy. If by chance I was to return these, what do you highly recommend? I bought Wahl Vapors previously, I love them but they get hella hot and the battery doesn't last (cuz I'm still learning my cuts go long). So after much research and grabbing a set to see how they feel in hand I decided to cop em. Let's hope they're fire...

if i had to guess if there's not a real difference between the black and gold version, its because it's probably easier to visually check the gap on the gold one versus the all black, where everything just blends in

The blade on the trimmer sucks they snag I even zero gap Them and same thing the og blade is way better then the ez gap blade

I bought the blades to put on my GTX Exo and they are hitters. Not as sharp as my Stylecraft Sabers but these feel better on my skin. Really crispy but smooth to the touch.

Bro I just bought this and threw on a babyliss taperblade. This thing is egornomically surgical its so skinny like a trimmer. Its absolutely scoops hair like scooping icecream. Also bought the gamma dub magnet guars and man its like the andis system just wow!. This already took over my babyliss profx. I also just ordered the kemei version since i like the vgr so much.

Feel like these arent much of an upgrade from the previous model. They bald better but certain hair types balding is a struggle it just glides over the hair. Then line ups they dont hit at all. Unless its straight thin hair they struggle hard. Takes like 3/4 taps for a sharp line i end up putting them down for my lo pro or instinct trimmer
