Could this be used in conjunction with a Pag HC-PL150T battery (with proper cabling to a connect to the d-tap), or other d-tap batteries that can provide 10A?

Yes, the MPL USB-C Adaptor can be powered using other batteries, as long as you can connect to its D-Tap. The HC-PL150T does not have a D-Tap output, so you would need to connect a PowerHub, which has 4 D-Taps and a USB-A.

Hi, can I put other brand's v-mount batteries behind the pagpink for hot-swapping?

PAGlink batteries can only be linked to other PAGlink batteries, not other brands, but you can hot-swap PAGlink batteries without an additional device.

Hi Beth. I'm glad to hear that the PL96's are still going strong. The MPL99 is the natural replacement when the time comes. By the way, we still have one of your photos in a frame on our office wall at PAG.

Hi Bob, PAG have always had a reputation for reliable, quality products. The MPL batteries are covered by a 2 year warranty, regardless of cycle count. PAG are not the cheapest batteries, but the new MPL-99 is a much lower price than say the PL96. So, yes, we think the price, & more importantly the value is competitive.

If these batteries are as impressive as they sound, and the build quality is good and the price is competitive then these look like a good future and a good investment for all professional film makers.

PAG has always had a reputation for quality and reliability. The new MPL batteries are covered by a 2 year guarantee, regardless of cycle count. They may not be the cheapest, but they have many more benefits than other batteries, and the new MPL99 is lower in price than the PL96. So, yes, we think the price and the value are very competitive.
