That's not supposed to happen, you should be able to see the scanimation on the preview. I may help you with your issue if you don't mind sending me the source files to [email protected]

yes, to do that, you have to put grid on glass and have a gap between grid and the scanimation, so that when passing by, the grid shifts visually

@@WispYart thank you for the response. That makes sense. I am a bicycle advocate and am running a group called Climate Revolutions by Bike. We are a group to encourage people to ride bikes as their main mode of transportation. And now especially with Covid, I am focusing on enticing people to ride by putting eye grabbing art installations on bike paths. I think i can accomplish the animation effect by using wooden slats as grid in front of the picture image. Thank you for all your good information on the video and in this response. I'll try to make a mock up of it.

You can use copier paper and cut the white lines with cutter, that will result in paper grid instead of transparent one and it works as good as transparent one

You hide all frames but one with the grid, then move grid to the next frame, and next, and so on. There is a simple tutorial on my channel if you wanna try it yourself :)
