My ex fiancee died of an overdose in August 2024. This song brings back a lot of memories. I was the only person who actually cared enough about her to get her out of the hell she was in, and even tho she overdosed, I found a suicide note a month later after I started going through her stuff. I miss her dearly. But I'm also trying to start over with someone else, and that's been going great. Corine and I talked a lot of her passing before me cause of health issues that she had, but I never thought she would take her own life. So, thank you for the song. I've lost many friends due to overdoses, and I want this shit off the streets. I know the last 2 places where Corine was the night before she died, and I know who gave her the drugs but since there's no communication between them about drugs the cops won't do anything about it. I, myself, have 7 years clean, and I'm blessed and truly grateful for my recovery.

Makes me think of my dad that I lost back in 2009, he was a 13-time cancer patient, but I can say that as far as I know the cancer is not what took him away it was the massive heart attack and him saying that he was ready to go, I think about him each and every day there isn't a day that goes by that I don't, when everybody says it gets easier it only gets harder.😢 But for some people it gets easier I guess it's all about and how you was raised and how you take such a tragic event when you're at home by their bedside and watch it happen.
