I'm a guitar builder as well not as good as you but I have a new body style. And neck headpiece style. If you can help me build these I'll go 50/50 with you I'll pay for the first few and then if they sell then we can discuss and compromise.. how can I get in touch with you??I'm in Dunedin Florida??

Not worth all the hassle. Just put up with your action and get familiar with it. Too many people wanting the perfect action. My action is 6mm at the higher frets from 12 and upwards. It plays OK for me.

And ya the clips it sometimes jumps drives me crazy, I've ruined so many pieces from doing that

I'm just having issue keeping my dang piece im working on in place cus my stupid solid cast iron vise somehow just snapped in half, lol, I didn't think that was even possible. I'm so aggravated right now my clamps aren't bog enough to go all the way around the table I have to use, and cant go out buying another vise right now right before Christmas, but then again half the things im working on are Christmas gifts..ugh idk what to do. Well acually I'm grabbing one of my cement blocks ploppen that down on a corner of my wood piece im working on. Also thought about just drilling a screw through in an area im cutting out and slowly move the screw down but then the end idk where ide put the screw. Idk if this makes any sense, I acually don't know wytf I'm even commenting about this on this video..sorry

Thank you for this video, exactly what I was looking for. I needed a new set of BUIS to replace the terrible factory BUIS that came with my GF99DLX!. I ordered the Tacticon, they are currently 34 bucks.

Why didn’t you even create a template for routing the hole? Why is everything done so hastily and sloppily? On the bright side, the guitar will probably be fine technically, despite this rushed approach. Overall, the video was well-shot-it’s just a shame it was done this way.

Thank you for making this video! Your videos were part of why I got interested in guns in the first place. I just got a dope gong for my brother-in-law for Christmas. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas Dan!

well the sound change I hear comes from the fresh strings, I guess. it would be more interesting if you compared the old pickups, bridge and nut using new strings to be honest

I don’t feel good about it, but I just shimmed my saddle with cardstock. I had to get it playing right for an upcoming Christmas instrumental and no time to shape a new saddle. This video ended up being a life saver for me because of that alone. Thank you!

Hey Dan, just a word of caution. I have a 1m square 48w laser. The deck under my laser got chared over the course of a year. A few weeks ago I started a job and ran in the house to get a cup coffee, and my wife stopped me to talk about something. When I went out my deck had caught fire, the laser shut down, but it did so right over the burning wood. It was a big mess. I had to order new wires for the laser so I can check to see if the laser will work. I rebuilt my deck using plywood covered with concrete backer board, and then sheet metal. I say all of that to say it doesn’t take long and all your tools and shop can be turned to ashes. Please be careful and keep up the good work.
