An absolute fantastic interview. A real genuine and honest player who was a club legend at Queens. To have Lyle (117 goals) and Dobbie (166 goals) at Palmerston for a spell together was awesome. Met him at Stephen Dobbie's Testimonial Dinner and they signed Lyle's photo when he scored his 100th goal at East End Park.

Brilliant listening to Derek there. Seems like a genuine down to earth guy with some brilliant stories from his time playing. Would have preferred to see him running out at Ibrox instead of paying a fortune for the likes of Sandaza and Kevin kyle.

Excellent podcast Stew. 2 genuine guys just talking about the game we all love. Celtic and Rangers seem to be allergic to signing players this window. Kilmarnock looking good already and Motherwell, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen should all be in the mix for 3rd. Exciting times 😎

I think Aberdeen could do quite well this season. Impressed with their appointment of Thelin and looks to have got them playing some good football already.
