Pretty much what I'll be doing to the 95 k2500 Burb I just bought. Going to be setting her up to be my camping/ tow rig/ backup winter rig. Letting her breathe correctly and making sure maintenance items are up to date. That'll be after I replace the head gaskets since it has a blown one since it had a stock turbo pushing slighy higher boost in a otherwise stock configuration. Has a heath tune at least for now too which might not have helped. At least I bought her for dirt cheap, only paid $560 for her and everything else appears intact. Limped her over to my buddies, and she didn't even try to overheat. Ran normal operating temps and pretty much stayed right at 200 on the guage, which isn't the most accurate thing.

@gingersnapcustoms I know I do, but it seems to have a solid base, so it should be worth it. Honestly, most of the cost had to do with how rough the interior is, with a lot of it being that a lot of the rear interior pieces are off. which may come in handy for designing things for storage and whatnot for camping. It's funny because one of my buddies has a k2500 suburban diesel, too, which happens to be a 95 as well. He's setting his up similar as well.

I have that flowmaster on my 2000 Chevrolet Z 71. Pretty quiet until you give it some gas, then the deep rumble kicks in. Absolutely no drone noise in the cab. With the deep rumble hitting the throttle, it sounds authoritative when getting on it. Perfect for my taste. I did try out 4 different tips while at the muffler shop, the mechanic was cool and let me hear them until I was satisfied. I ended up going with dual 4” megs to get it deep and louder. Been satisfied ever since with that setup. I didn’t run them turned out, behind the tire. I ran straight pipe all the way just under the bumper.😊

Do you have a troubleshooting video for no start? I’ve got a 99 GMC 2500. 6.5. It had 1214 code. Injection pump timing offset. Scanner said most likely fix is replacing Crankshaft position sensor. So I drive the truck a couple weeks. Few hundred miles. Turn it off at the gas station, and it never starts again. Turns over just fine, just don’t fire. So I replaced the crankshaft sensor. Nothing. I replaced and relocated the PMD. Nothing. Unplugged optical sensor, nothing. It just turns over endlessly. Won’t star. Also tried to jump the glow plug relay. Nothing. Just turns over.
