What's your opinion on Fire ATM? I'm 620 doing 10s in time and generally hit around 1--1.1m overall, whereas our Ret is always around 1.5m. Checking the sims and I do just sim much lower than him, so we're both doing what we're supposed to, it just feels bad that I can never compete, even though we're the same ilvl.

Fire spec is fun to play it has the strongest aoe compared to the others, the st dmg is still meh but with a DH tank it's okay (well its overall better for casters to have a vengy tank) esp. if u go higher keys than 10 when u need to min max more and more.

Would love to see which WA you're using. Switching to fire, getting bored with arcane play, fire looks like you're playing like street fighter. Great music choice.

Most of my weakauras are package wa's from Naowh, I can't share them sadly you have to sub to him in order to get them.

Why do you still press fire blast during hyperthermia? Shouldn't you justvspam pyro until the window is over so you can use blast outside of it to guarantee hot steaks as usual? Or use them inside a combustion window

Ignite is a bit behind atm. I jump to prevent hardcasting pyros, spamming A D also works :)

hearing FS at 5 or more targets. Pyro is the same 4 targets as FS so you would pyro if there is a prio target. What are your thoughts?

also open to hearing different mages opinions on ice floes vs shimmer because i swapped to ice floes during s3 of df and now cant get back on the shimmer wave. feel like there are too many mechanics to slightly move away from so ice floes just feels nice. + being able to blink out of stuns and such.

Can you talk a bit about how you are entering combust? I notice you doing: PF - Scorch - IB - FS - FS? Is that right? It reminds of the double pyro trick - but i that was dependent on the pyro travel time to make work. I think FS is instant.

I think the proper way would be to scorch PF > Scorch > Combust > FSx2, I just still sometimes IB to get it on cd asap and sometimes its just muscle memory kicking in tbh. I'll try to fix it for the future. Thanks for the input!
