Because that was the thing to sound of music, aside from the beautiful music and the lush scenery of Austria- Hungry. I love the character Christopher Plummer and how he showed a sad melancholy through steely resolve at knowing he would lose his homeland, that shit always makes me cry.

Very nice Julie. Just read that this was your favourite song in The Sound of Music. Too bad it was cut in so sharply in this video. Still beautiful. With a perfect voice, one wants all to be perfect.

Omg julie andrews is srsly a legend I wish I could meet her she's so precious and sweet and talented. Her voice makes me relax. I have anxiety and I'm always depressed she is basically the reason I'm good now. Julie andrews thank u for making me smile all these years
