This soil lacks perlite, that is why it is turning brown and mushy..been there :D

This is still on the same soil and pot from the nursey. I should have repotted it sooner and replace the soil with a chunky one..

These pots are too big for current ZZ`s roots system. You eventually overwater them and root rot will come along(( Pls consider reporting them into much smaller pots, otherwise, they can die - they don't have enough roots to absorb all water from this amount of soil.

It's a terracotta pot. It helps in absorbing water. As long as you didnt overwater the plants, it will be fine 💚

@@KharessCares Even in terracotta it still won`t help. Not enough roots for such big amount of soil. For these roots pot diameter should be at least 2-3 cm smaller then chosen one.

Hello, the bottles are 500ml. The water depends on the size of the moss pole. You can fill it half then just add if the bottom part of the moss is still dry. For the lids, 1 hole is enough but I made 3 small holes 😊

I can’t wait to grow mine that large! I started with 2 small cuttings a few weeks ago. I have 6 leaves now. It’s a pretty fast grower 😊

Most plants will grow in semi hydro. It’s not recommended to grow them in glass containers for several reasons however.

Grow lights are a big help for plants specially if the plants are not getting enough natural sunlight. The one with a full spectrum is a better choice 💚
