@@carguy302 sharp car! I’m still rolling with mine and I’ll hold out probably until 2026 and get one more in manual. In the meantime, I need to put some springs on the front and change out the air ducts and I’ll be good for a while. The black has me thinking about switching from Dravit but we will see. If you don’t remember, I am just up 202 in the kop area. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

i can tell you're a sucker for black wheels LOL. If you ever change it up i'd highly recommend getting some HRE S101SC's on 21's but those are probably more per wheel than your whole set LOL.

I'm definitely a sucker for black wheels! 🤣 I explored other colors but felt like gloss black was the only choice because of the red and gloss black trim. HRE's are very nice and one wheel does cost more than this whole set. Had them on my previous M5 and did not want to spend that amount of money this time around.

I think this engine sounds so much better than the new s68 engine. So far, everything with the new engine sounds quieter. Awesome car, nothing newer will compare to it.

I agree 💯 The new model seems quiet and tamed down a bit. I’m sure an exhaust system and/or downpipes will fix that. The styling looks great in my opinion but weighs too much.

What’s your recommendations and lessons you’ve learned regarding exhaust configurations on the G8X platform? Was the AA EL mid paired with the valvetronic rear section the best sounding setup for those cars? If not what’s your preference?

Great question…From my experience the AA EL Mid Pipe offered the best bang for the buck sound improvement . Very aggressive sound with the tone I was looking for. I paired it with the Valvetronics a le back and it was a match made in heaven. Just enough raw and uncut sound without being obnoxious. An aftermarket axle back made a huge difference over the OEM axle back.

Funny we both have had F90 and G80. I unfortunately traded my F90 for my G80 and while I do love the G80 in a lot of ways, I missed my F90 from day one. When the G90 was released. It was so bad I decided to look for another F90. Signed last week and hopefully will get it in the next couple weeks (coming from across the damn country). I’m so stoked to get back into one.

Great minds think alike! I think I would cry a little if I sold my M5. Congrats on your F90! It’s an amazing car and if I had to choose between the two I think it would be the F90 M5. It’s just about perfect in every way & has that glorious TT V8

Curious I'm assuming you was in drag mode? What rpm was you launching? Also did you do a burnout?

Yes it is in drag mode and did a light burn out just to clean the tires. Not sure what rpm I launched at.

I say sell it. Its a great stock vehicle for someone else but based on your last G80 and how that looked/sounded it was better (imo)... the things you could do with mods will make it special to you.
