Rest in peace my friend. One of my favorite tracks from Chick Corea . The artists on this track are masters. Stanley's of the Upright and piccolo bass is pure genius. I've never been so impressed with Al Demiola's master of the flamingo style. Pure Genius.

Collins' drumming is not only amazing but so is this entire song. Did not realise how much I would enjoy jazz fusion and see its similarities to prog but sure look, I guess even music tastes can come full circle eh? :D

What an amazing guitar sound. The keyboard reminds me of something straight out of an early pink floyd album (like the organ section in the fourth part of the atom heart mother suite). A shame this isn't more known

In Memoriam Noel Pointer (December 26, 1954 - December 19, 1994) was an American jazz violinist and record producer, whose life inspired a music foundation. Impossible to Forget You: "Superwoman (Where Were You When I Needed You)" by Stevie Wonder, as Played by Noel Pointer’s Violin. "In the vast echoes of my youth, the spell of that fiery violin still resounds. Superwoman... a song in its fullest bloom, a whisper that softly, utterly breaks the soul. I remember those parties, those dreams in full bloom, the glint of laughter, of furtive glances, and in the air, the music like a cloak of love, wrapping us all within its captive notes. It was Noel, it was him, weaving that mystery, raising a secret altar in every chord, where time held its breath, silent, ethereal, and we, unaware, reached up to the heavens. Today, I close my eyes and hear it again, that melody gliding like a river, and I still feel how it makes me shiver, how it stirs my skin, igniting my longing. Oh, beautiful Superwoman, eternal, unbreakable flame! You will always touch my truest memories, like that fierce, youthful love, that lives in my veins, sweet, impossible, and wild. I thank every note, every pulse of the past, for in you I find life, passion, and youth. Oh, sublime music, still resonating, my eternal lover, my hymn of gratitude."
