why are they called swamp deers? is that because their primal source of food is from swamps?

We are so used to seeing blue chip films on animals where the humans are not seen. But the reality is often very different. I have uploaded the same video with not many intrusions. See if you can appreciate it more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqG3eIakjM9-acksi=D89L91kRebrBCKEX

A career should be chosen to help sustain you but equally important, the career should be one where you are passionate about doing the work and enjoy doing it

Tourist money, a big chunk of which goes to the Maasai tribe who owns the land, helps to protect these habitats with wildlife. The Maasai have leased these habitats to conservancies and the government.

This video is a gem! Salute to Manish ji for this dedication and Susan ji for documenting it. This video has so many pearls of wisdom about having healthy catchment area and clearing it up, the natural ecosystem of a healthy pond with snails, dragonflies, toads, fish and how they naturally keep mosquitoes in check...so much much more. And the organic way to get people interested in water plants and therefore, in reviving ponds and lakes. How wonderful! Some saints living among us!

Jeeps with tourists are bringing in the money to protect the National Reserve of Maasai Mara. Corbett National Park in India used to have a popular elephant safari which went close to the tigers. Tigers saw the elephant but not the people on top. Similarly the leopards see the jeep and not the tourists. See our video To Corbett with Love at the link
