Im glad Im not the only one that thought that. Though I love Catherine’s art works in general, July kit wasnt as functional to use for sure. Im going back to full sub starting next month! And I hope there are more of florals than other design that takes the major part of the theme☺️

I use a lot of different brown inks actually! I change it whenever I run out of one and then refill with different ones. But for May, I used Robert Oster Caffe Crema (my top fav) and Aussie Brown

Really enjoy ink testing. I love Golden Brown and Pecan by Noodlers. It’s got an autumnal feel to it. My all time favorite ink is Private reserve Avocado, it’s matte graphic green.

Noodler’s Golden Brown and Pecan are both lovely inks! I have tried samples but went with Robert Oster for similar shades. Avocado sounds good too! I should look for a sample next time. Thank you❤️

You can print her monthly freebies, which includes all sizes, and tip it into your N2 Weeks. She uses 93 gsm vellum. I plan to do this, but I haven’t had a chance to yet. I love your videos so much!😊

Thank you! I should have explained it better but I’m using the note pages as collection so no longer tipping in the monthly vellum. I used 100 or 105gsm vellum for mine and it works good also😁

The Sterling ink N2 - Compact (weeks size) fits in the Midori Weeks Cover - It wouldn’t fit on the full year size. I had an extra Midori cover and tried it. Lauren Phelps is another good one.

See if b6 slim midori clear clovers will work. Jet pens is great for searching (& buying!), but price compare with other shops. My other fav is Yoseka Stationary. A lot people like Atlas Stationers, too. *update: sterling ink site states that the 272-pg b6 slim is “Jibun Techo Mini Size” so double check that the clear cover for this might work also.

I’m a speech pathologist, going from Deluxe to Subscription is a very difficult transition because of the “mouth shape” positions that your tongue has to get into very quickly.

You have really cool job! I honestly thought it was English since I use Korean at home and I dont speak English as much as I used to since Ive started working remotely post-covid. The word “subscription” tends to be challenging for me on its own lol

@@rhymeplans is that because you don’t have an R in Korean? I’m pretty sure that Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese don’t… And there is no “th” in French. I’m l learning Italian, or at least working on it - there are some sounds that are really tough for me - they sort of roll their R’s but not the same as in Spanish (I can do that one fine because I learned some Spanish when I was little. Your English is great. I love your videos!

I’ve been following PlanningLifeWithErin - she uses her weeks size as a checklist, market list and tracker - I’ve been doing that too so it’s not a duplicate… no pressure. You’re journaling is beautiful

@@rhymeplans sometimes the imperfections are really cool - I printed out a piece of vellum and didn’t realize that it was going to print on both sides- I didn’t use the calendar “as is” but kept the double print flowers and some of the double prints to use in collages - abob Ross used to say they were “happy little accidents”

@@rhymeplans Yes!! Stub nibs are so much fun. I’ve got them on my Franklin Christoph, Benu, and Stipula but TWSBI stubs are my fav. Maybe start with your favorite inks, like you did with this video of your favorite pens. You can also structure it by price & skill level too. If you have enough browns for 2 videos, I definitely need to see them all now. 🤣 Any ink video will be a great video.

It really does help to finger press and bend back the notebook. I’ve done mine a few times and it’s perfect. Now you just kinda have to break it in. Catherine from Sterling ink explains the process in one of her videos.
