The game seems like it should be difficult because the CPU is programmed to frustrate you with every attempt at a hit, however there are patterns that the CPU doesn't read and that's the way to finish the game. For example, if you use Milena or Kitana you can finish the game just using kicks, meaning just 1 button. Once you discover that, the game is pretty easy even on the maximum difficulty.

I agree. Mk2 ai is the hardest out of the three games. The cpu straight-up cheats.you have to find ways of tricking Cpu to react to you in a way you can counter it .
