Seattle is the kind of dump (literally) where you are walking and step on a dog turd in the middle of the sidewalk downtown. Except in Seattle, that dog poop is actually human poop. Poop City USA = Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco

I lived in Vancouver for 15 years and an unfortunate workplace injury forced me to move back to Ontario. Vancouver has so much potential and is awe inspiringly beautiful and a very special place in the world geographically. While I met some very good people while living there the people can be quite cold and unfriendly and some of the loneliest times of my life were spent there. If the people there were as friendly as they are in the rest of Canada it would be perfect city. All those criticisms aside I still have dreams about being there and by in large I enjoyed a lot of my time there. Watching this video and seeing so many familiar sights gave me chills. I'm glad you guys had such a good experience and enjoyed yourselves.

Love the vibe of your trip. Not in a rush and you're just taking it all in at a pace to enjoy every moment. Haven't been to Vancouver in about a decade and it was never as sunny as it was for your trip😅 Great video!

Moving back to Texas should save you a lot of $$. Don't piss away money on rent, it's better to bank cash, even if you have to move to a diff city to do it.
@julio_guzmanАй бұрын
Yessir, saving money is a big motivator for moving back to Texas. Of course it is where i grew up and all my friends and family are so that helps too. Soon hopefully

Are you married ? That's what you need to do before moving in together, just saying.
@julio_guzmanАй бұрын
I have strong traditional values, and we only booked this airbnb for 4 months so we got each other promise rings as a way to show our commitment to each other However, I no longer believe that you need to get marries before moving in with somebody. This outdated belief leads to all sorts of issues down the road. Moving in with somebody shows you who they really are since you see them at their most vulnerable - you get to realize whether or not your relationship will last in the long term. Waiting to move in together until after you're married is asking for long term problems that can become unresolvable. Moving in as a committed/engaged couple will show you that you can work on your issues together. Everybody can do so as they wish, but I'm grateful we decided to move in sooner. It is expensive in the big city and we created beautiful memories.

Why did you cross through Matamoros when you were in McAllen? That added at least two hours to your drive to Monterrey compared to crossing through Reynosa.

My good friends told me it is not wise to drive through Reynosa. I would rather take any advice my friends who regular cross over give to me!
