This suggestion is probably a bit late, but maybe add a small cluster of tree stumps near the Inn to account for the firewood. Could have a fallen log still there and a ton of branches strewn everywhere. Obviously firewood can be purchased and be hauled in from elsewhere, so it's not exactly immersion breaking.

Suggestion for near the lake: an additional fisherman who has gone a little ways from the fishing camp to clean/descale some of the catch. The scent of fish has attracted a bear. Perhaps the fisherman has already fallen to the bear, or maybe the player has the chance to intervene.

Hi team. I'm a day late to the most recent Rebel stream, but a suggestion for that is to make that island tree MUCH bigger and taller. For a few reasons. It had such an abundance of water nearby and sparse cover nearby that its become a giant of the area. It can draw some attention to it from far away too. "Hey look, I wonder what's over there". For the player, and any nearby curious NPC who might be desperate or doesn't know the area, or just adventurers who wanted to explore.... and met a troubled end. That's the main thing I'd probably do if I was creating the area. A much wilder idea to add to that, could put something cool there being exploited by nearby 'LUMBERJACK' type bandits, some cut down/fallen trees in the forest nearby and their nomad bandit lumber camp, and maybe even store the mass wood resources in the outside of the ruined fort. And the resources trail back to an 'in progress' structure being build against that tree. Perhaps the bandits are using lumber from that fort to make scaffolding up against the giant tree, leading up to a scout platform so the bandits have a wide high up open platform space to scout from and defend with two archers. A bridge from the shore camp connects to the scaffolding for the scout platform higher up in the trunk. This is to protect their water source they are greedily defending and also deviously attracting thirsty people, to rob them. Arm the lot of the bandits with lumber axes. (This could have a Quest related to it, to clear them out, and have some presence in the ?dungeon? under the fort, like a boss encounter) Or (a less complex suggestion) is just the bandits came to attempt to cut down the big tree to uncover a treasure under it (Rebel threw the treasure idea out, but..) Spriggans reacted and have taken over guarding that small island and there's a combat zone of Axe bandits across the water wanting to kill the Spriggans.
@michaelcole31407 күн бұрын
Also, going back to that, have a rich NPC in a city who is pulling the strings of this operation. Nobody knows. Just have some clues in the NPCs house/business of their side business. No quest tied to it. Just clues regarding lumber or unique subtle items in common at bandit sites. Think Breaking Bad and Gustavo Fring. That level of secrecy. Or any other upstanding citizen with a darkside. Not all crime needs to be told to us as a player, just have it existing. No one would know in the world about these things that aren't already narrated in the game, but any clever player might put two and two together... 🙂 I think that would be cool for a few seemingly better financed bandit/outlaw operations across Cyradiil. Always someone with money funding them, but you aren't really told about it.

I don't know, why, but I'd love to see something from the tavern under the arc. And a road with some clutter on the other side of the river, under the arc as well. In the latest dev diary, a dIctor said, that you've added some of the cells into a map (about 300 if I recall correctly). What is the philosophy for filling those with content? New dungeons? (still rooting for 1 single Dwemer dungeon somewhere in the mountains near Skyrim) NOOOOOOOOOO, I WILL ALWAYS MISS THE RED ROSES AND VINES ON THE BRIDGES OF CHEYDINHAL

I love the big roots at 3:30. If you remember the small alley near the unmarked ailed ruins, I was talking about this BIG roots on a road, to make it visually more distinct. If I recall it correctly, you put some smaller roots there. I hope, that adding some more, but larger will make the look better. Like, a "shot" that pierces straight into your memory for good. Also, you've talked about putting more stuff on a floor. Maaan, I LOOVE the big fort you touched, but I really like to see more stuff on the walls. Torches, Lanterns, some wooden stuff, arrows, blazers, swords and so on. And, again, BANNERS on the walls XDDD (ye, I love banners, as you might guess) If you haven't figured out what to do with the island in a lake. I like it to be some sort of a "sacred" place. Put a small and modest Altar of Mara or something there. It would justify by "environmental storytelling", why the land doesn't have many trees in it. And make the area around a lake filled with flowers, grown all over the place. I don't know why, but I like the change of pace in the region. Like, the basin itself is kinda dense. And it still will be true for the "holy" version. But it is filled not with trees, but with flowers, ingredients, and low-level vegetation.

Terrific stream, very relaxing second screen watching. There's something hypnotic about watching a landscape take form. One idea I had for the open terrain around the lake to feel more unique you could make a dense field of brightly coloured wildflowers there, perhaps a single colour to really pop-similar to the famous field of poppies in STALKER 2. With flowers being harvestable containers, might be a challenge but would enhance the location, make it a point of interest and screenshot magnet.

@@Wubbs64 You think a huge game should be mapping basic terrain in the year it supposedly is to be released? Finding volunteers in the same year it releases? They should already be done 100% and now polishing, fixing quests, scripts and making small changes. It's just lack of common sense. How is that insane? You finish something and then you give yourself time to think about what needs to be polished. If you're still doing the basic things to the end, you're gonna have a half-assed project with no direction and consistency. Literally.
