They've never been able to top this. Sorcery and Temple of Knowledge are great too but nothing had the feeling that this one had.

By far it's not the best work by Kataklysm the composition in this one the lowest level everything runs away from death metal background,and the name of this album was baptized by Goliath,it is the worst name to describe a death metal album.

Good album . My mate puts me on to a lot of this stuff . I like most of it . Some I can't get in to . I can't get in to the males who sing the roar roar roar vocals . Когда я был ребёнком, друг дал мне послушать кассету Pantera. По ошибке там оказался этот альбом Kataklysm, так что очень долго я называл эту группу Pantera 😂 В любом случае это это один из лучших металл-альбомов всех времён. Возвращаюсь к нему по сей день.

I heard somewhere that Kataklysm and Cryptopsy's drummers would try to out-blast each other in the 90s. They're about equal in speed, though Max could do them for a longer time, at least back then. In the long run, Flo won, because Max started cheating, using gravity blasts for the snare hits, and now I don't even know if he plays anymore since he left Kataklysm. Flo still does 100% legit hyperblasts at 50 years old, which is nuts. Both bands, past and present, though with a few hiccups, kick ass.

Absolute great record. I heard The Orb for the first time on a Nuclear Blast Sampler and it was Love at first sight. I took the CD everywhere and was quite soon not allowed to come close to any CD player 😂
