Yeah, John has Two magical parents, were as Robb only has one, maybe Robb is better at fishing than John, due to the Tully side of the family!

My guess is that the only way they could keep them, is if John said that Robb found the wolves! Knowing that if he said he found them, Ned would say NO, if the “Bastard” had found the wolves!!! When you look at this for what it is, John is more tuned in to his Stark side, then his Targarian Side! John is more Stark than Robb, even though Robb is the “Stark Heir”!!! John’s no fool!!!

How did the two stone statues known as the Collosi of Agamemnon, sing each morning? It had something to do with sunlight hitting it, the warmer it got, the sound changed! I imagine the Titan of Bravos would be similar, or there was a mechanism with a set of scales (think of an hour-glass, and a mechanism to flip it every hour) to do it on foggy mornings, so that the length on an hour, always stayed constant (Equally divided into 24 parts)!!!

34:09 so they say that Jaime was 17 during the sack of King’s Landing? But he was 15 when he joined the Kingsguard during the tourney at Harrenhal so there you go another piece of evidence that the rebellion was in 284 and not in 283!

A thought as to what might have caused the Doom of Valaria: We know the “Hammer of the Waters” separated the Original Landmass Westeros/Essos!The remaining pieces, now the “Step-Stones”! Dorne Being a Desert to the west of them and Valaria(now Ruins),an Tropical Archipelago to the east! Here’s the what if; We have seen Celestial Activity in this Saga, (GRRM) “left it open” with the Red Comet, and now Solar Eclipse over Valaria? What if a Smaller Asteroid/ Meteorite, think (Tunguska Event 1908, Siberia), Impacted/Air-Bursted in the area around “The Stepstones”? In between Them and Valaria, Maybe? This Event, Seismically triggered the Doom, the 14 Flames to simultaneously erupted! Then (Most Likely) the Tsunami’s effecting local waters enough, to Swallow the “Arm of Dorne” and parts of Valaria! Them saying that the Sword “Dawn” was forged from ”The Heart of a Star”, an Iron Meteorite! So, we know they have impacted the planet before in the past, and might have caused Othe Events, to happen in The Story (Nymeria’s Exodus)??? Just a Idea/ Thought!

I still don’t really know what to think of these two, going off the show then it’s pretty cut and dry what happened, but in the books I would say otherwise. At this point all we know is that rhaegar kidnapped and raped lyanna, Jon’s heritage hasn’t even been confirmed yet. Plus Rhaegar as a character isn’t that cut and dry to me. I don’t think he did what he did for love but prophecy like many other targeryons. And maybe in the books if Jon is rhaegars son and Jon is actually vital to against the war with the white walkers maybe what rhaegar did actually was necessary. So to me I don’t really care to be angry at rhaegar, either he was a crazed idiot which doesn’t interest me or he was a complex character who was blinded by prophecy, possible influenced by maestro aemon, but I don’t like to dumb down characters to being simply dumb people who made bunch choose for no reason, rhaegar isn’t made to be like that and if he is then it’s kinda a waist of a good story.

After Robert’s rebellion happens, Ned and Kat are married and go up to Winterfell to live. Almost immediately, Benjen leaves for the Wall. Jon can't be alive. He was stabbed 4 times and died. It is known. Now seriously. This is the best theory I've heard on this channel. It makes perfect sense. After 1st re-read I've noticed that in the scene there are actually 3 main characters: POV Jon, "Lord Commander Jon" and Tormund. Or in other words in his POV, Jon is mentioned in 3rd person. Also Jon litterally thinks he isn't breaking his oaths. Interestingly, I couldn't find any more content about this as everybody thinks Jon died.

Ned wasn't dumb but his sense of honor and unwillingness to play the game when he was in a position of power cost him his life and cause excessive pain for most of the North. Sad thing about it all is he still had to go back on his honor in the end. So no he wasn't dumb. And yes Catlyn made a mockery of plan A. Ned however still refused to go with some very solid plan B's and even C's because he didn't see the honor in it. That stubbornness cost the entire Stark family. He was dumb for sending his personal guards at a time where he was out numbered by Lannisters, he was dumb for trusting Little Finger after refusing Peters plan. And it was dumb to underestimate Cersei. And he did it from a place of overconfidence that was all 100% on Ned.

I completely disagree Renly is the best of the Baratheon brothers and had he not been murdered using blood magic he would have won the war of 5 kings and been one of the better kings in Westeros. The excuses made for Stannis and Robert are insane. Stannis was going to burn his nephew, let his witch kill Renly because he was too afraid to met him in open combat. He bitched and moaned about other lords not liking him while simultaneously being an asshole to everyone. Don't get me wrong Stannis has some redeemable qualities (which is the true greatness of GRRM) but to act like he didn't deserve the treatment he got is insane. Robert was king and had the authority to check Cersei, but instead he let her run amuck and make his life miserable. Lyanna had him pegged accurately and it showed by his actions. He never intended to honor Cersei and that played a major role in her behavior. Donald comment about Renly as copper was when he was just a little boy. Talking about not allowing someone to grow up. Renly gave excellent council to Ned and had Ned listened he would have avoided getting most of the people he loved or served under him killed. Renly was arrogant, and not a great warrior, but he understood how to play the game, was fair but firm, and most importantly had the ability to unite and mobilize most of the important lords. He would have honored the Margary and most importantly been a fair ruler that would not have just sat by idly and let the 7 kingdoms be corrupted by the likes of Little Finger.

I have some manuscripts and a complete episode 1 written as an alternative version of season 7's beginning. It's obviously not a literary marvel or technically good work, but I was so confident about being able to write a more cohesive and reasonable story, even with the clusterfuck of a season 6 which ruined the entire narrative irreversibally. In any case, watching this reminded me of how furious I was about this show since the ending of season 6. I even remember how I argued with my co-workers, one of them had the song that played when Baelor's Spet was blown up for Cersei, as her ringtone even. Casual show fan and all. I was saying that the show is idiotic at this point wheras most of them were thinking I'm a moron. To me, any competent writer for the show, would unite Jon, Arya and Sansa as an embodiment of the North itself. Which Starks are actually representing there. Without them, the North as we know it doesn't function, which was the reason of the Northern Conspiracy was even happening in the book. I mean, when you really look into Alayne chapters, and Sansa's evolution, you really get a glimpse of what George is doing with her on the abstract, you don't need to think and come up with all the mythic symbolisms she represents, you don't need to think about iceberg deep themes he puts in between the lines, just look at the very core at the character itself. Sansa should've been the part where Jon lacks for ruling. Someone who can manipulate people, someone who knows the South, someone who knows how to manipulate, threaten etc. Someone who knows how to wield power, while not being a source of power itself. Which is something Cersei wants to be all her life Wheras Jon, as the Ice and Fire, should've been in the process of learning of his actual power, that is deriven by his blood he's so conflicted with But what did we get? Petty power struggles that they can't even write anything cohesively because there's just nothing about Sansa wanting to usurp Jon.

Technically speaking, Jaime and Cersei might be not his wheras Tyrion definetly his. Which by the way, would be poetic because Tyrion is him writ small. The way he thinks, his oppurtunitism, his wit and ambition to rise above everybody is just the same with Tywin Also, Tywin is nothing but a pathetic mockery of everything he wants people to him and his family. Wants to be viewed as a very capable commander, wheras his only real ability is cruelty. Sure, his methods are effective, but War of The Five Kings really proved that he never really met his match when Targaryens were ruling too He wants to appear a man who's an ideal ruler, a man who sees beyond his personal desires, which partly is true, but Tywin is even a heavier womaniser although he chastises Tyrion over whores constantly. He wants to seem stern, but just but it's clear as day that what happened to Ellaria was his doing and I seriously don't believe he didn't order the death of those boys that way and what heppened to Ellaria Martell. All because he couldn't abide Aerys calling Cersei unworthy and choosing Ellaria over her Not to mention, he's twisted enough to bed Shae the day he convicted Tyrion to death

If Sarella is Shae and is an assassin, how did she get killed by Tyrion? Tbh Tyrion killing shae seemed tough given he's like 40 inches tall and deformed somewhat. I wrote it off as Shae being manipulative sex kitten. The way she also asks after her jewels from Varys when she thought Tyrion was dead seems honest and materialistic and Tyrion completely overlooks it.

I think another possibility is the children might be trying to restore balance. Valyria had too many dragons & dragonlords. They were too dominant. The dragons eventually almost became extinct and now the Others seem about to become unstoppable. Possibly the children will want to prevent that as well. For me, the Children wanting to extinguish men could be optional as far as this theory would go. Maybe they dont want Ice or Fire to be dominant. Possibly they dont want Men to be dominant either

I mean, some of the arguments here are really forced. Like she expects the man just because it's phrased that way, George is obviously wording the chapter in a way to make readers feel tense. And when she says "so soon", she obviously refers the knowledge that in Kings Landing, small council would know of her presence and someone would have make contact. Varys was known to know everything, mind you? As a Turkish man, who was raised by a family with deep shamanistic cultural past, with even funeral rites being tengrist instead of muslim, in a small village and all I can guarentee you that I recognised Catelyn's overly feudal mindset, because she literally has a mind structure similar to women in my family(Up until Gen Y, which are usually very modern in Turkey) But you guys are just overrate her stupidity and maliciousness

People talk about how they now realise why Eddard never told Catelyn about Jon. She would be indiscreet, reckless bla bla. That take is still missing on how self obsessed and merciless Catelyn is. She *would* spred the word herself, she wouldn't listen to Eddard, Jon would be a great threat in her eyes, someone with dragon blood mixed with Stark heritage, someone nobler than her own sons

@subutaynoyan537229 күн бұрын
And people seriously forget at what point he married Jayne Westerling. After the Battle of Oxcross; Robb was basically doing what Tywin set the Hound and Amory Lorch and Bloody Mummers upon Riverlands to do to Tywin's own lands. The plan was using their mostly cavalry force to pick a convenient battleground, bring Tywin to the field, beat him there and force terms that include the North's independence with Riverlands being a part of it, return of Sansa and Arya(If she lived), return of Ice, and doing whatever the fuck they want outside of his kingdom That was just it and Tywin was at wit's end. And then, that dumbass Edmure shows up, with a solid plan to achieve his own end, I'll give him that. But it contradicted massively with what Robb planned to do, Edmure wanted to "defend" his lands and was still sour from all the pounding from Jaime Lannister he received until Robb rescued him and his castle at Whispering Wood. Yeah, the idea of preventing Tywin from crossing Red Fork and taking Harrenhal to pilfer his safe retreat was logical. But that was not a plan Robb was aware of and he just jumped in his King's war plans all by his own, because of his vain ambition to win some empty glory And that, came with Freys leaving his side, and Catelyn the Mother of Year did not rest on her laurels after putting her husband in a premature war in a lion's den he was trapped in, she just releases Jaime because she wants her daughers back. As if they would give them to her just like that!

Nah, it's A+L=J. It will be Arthur and Lyanna, as Rhaegar is a pet character meant to represent some of Martin's ideals, and Martin got cucked in the 70s and has never gotten over it. Plus Tower of Joy > Joyous Gard > Lancelot and Guinvere

I think the fact found the wolves, it means he is a true stark, not a bastard child, he is not Ned’s son, he is a Stark though. I think he still could be Lyanna and Rhaegar’s child, even if he is a Targaryen too, he looks nothing like them, he only has the Stark’s features. So there is a huge possibility that R+L=J it’s real. Rhaegar did took Lyanna with him and didn’t do that just to look at her, he thought she was the most beautiful woman there…the Targaryen Wolf is real 🤣
