I’ve just gotten tired of Arabic perfumes coming out with new fragrances almost weekly and getting “influenced”. I prefer these types of videos now that bring appreciation to what a lot of us already own. There could be a lot of topics around this. Of course, it’s the content creator’s prerogative to make and post videos that they want. Lately for me when it’s a new release or haul video I just move on. I have gotten over my FOMO. 😂

LOL, I think I know the KZbinr you're talking about! She's an OG Middle Eastern fragrance reviewer with striking long black hair, always rocking a black turtleneck, and smoky eyes. She totally put me on to Majd asdaaf too!

I feel overwhelmed just at the promotional mails I receive from perfume shops as I feel there are far too many new releases, plus the fact that a few seem to be similar ( inspired by the same OG). I think that I chose the right time to be on a long perfume purchasing pause. I have (perhaps too many) so many perfumes now, and yet, of course, I bought a couple like December Vanilla and Qissa ( I can not wait to smell this), but I just want to enjoy wearing the perfumes that I now own. As they have maturated , so many have even become more beautiful ❤). I have started to think that I own far too many things and want to de clutter and reign in all buying all types of ( unessential and unnecessary or hardly of use ) items. I feel we get bombarded with temptations of sales advertisements, and often, we buy items that really we do not love 100% or need. Let's see how I go with resisting temptation 😅😂. I love Amethyst and Ameer al oud Intense. I love Oudain so much, which I am missing wearing as the weather has turned warm and humid. I own and love a lot of these fragrances you featured. Also, thanks for giving us the history. Most of these, I thought were newer releases because of all of the hype around them. I'm glad the OG's are keeping up with these newbie scents. Really speaks to the quality of these fragrances.

Hi Adwoa! Based on the notes, I think Coconut Lagoon might be a dupe of Wavechild by Room 1015, since the notes are quite similar!

You can find all these old perfumes on good prices now. My husband wears CDN Man intense that one strong and lasts on clothes after the wash.

hearing that casablanca is older kind of makes sense to me. it doesn't feel as modern as my other scents and it's super airy and isn't dense which is what i was expecting. most gormounds today are a lot more dense. love ameer al oudh intense. oud 24 hours is really difficult for me and used to make me feel gross / sick. i think i might have done a bit of a jump... being new to fragrances that scent profile is a bit too unfamiliar

i actually ordered prodigy noir earlier today! the notes sound very interesting. i don't mind unisex, i just hope it doesn't lean too masculine. i'll report back once i get my nose on it! ♥

al mukhtalif i've seen online. wish it had more distribution. i can find it on royalsperfume which seems to be uk but does ship internationally. But they sell a silver and gold one and they don't clarify the notes. It's also on ebay i suppose. I'm enjoying what i have right now. i do have a wishlist but it's not nearly as long as earlier this year (probably because i bought most of my wishlist lol)

So cool to go back and see the frags that started the arabian perfume craze. I'm only 2 years into the M E experience, but I binged watched so much that I am familiar with them. My 1st M E frag was ajayeb portrait and I still love it. ❤️

My husband looovvvees qaa'ed. Club de unit womens line is top tier. Shaghaf oud and oud mood so lovely.

I definitely have slowed down on my purchases because of these new releases and money grabs.
