A word of warning: If you like me have easily subluxating patellas [knees that pop out of joint and takes 2-3 months to heal] and are about as agile as a fence since childhood, be very careful with the squats. Mine nearly went after doing the squats. If yr naturally stiff or complete beginner be gentle. I've been doing @charliefollows 30 min beginner yoga every day for 2 months and can nearly do downward dog but the way this is shown is for someone who's already quite supple [and has strong knees] Other positions were good but probably impossible for a complete beginner.

This is great! Do you have any stretches for hips? The straight leg extended creates a lot of pain in my hip. I’ve had problems with it for a while, and it seems to be related to the groin.

You most prolly have a very tight psoas muscle.

Oh my gosh. That was an amazing routine. You are absolutely right it was all fascia feeling stretches and adhesions. Wow. Looking forward to the improvements I see after doing this for a while. Thank you thank you!

Dogs are stretching !!!!! They do downward dog and many other stretches to warm the muscles as soon as they are out of bed !!!! Do NOT pretend to know about dogs .

Important to do but in all fairness dogs don't do this either, it's simply stretching with different form for the fascia!

Where can someone who can’t get into most of these positions start? I would LOVE to see modifications for super beginner or locked up people such as myself. Injured, overweight and stiff or elderly

I can't believe this guy is a doctor. If 95% of population try to do these moves, they hurt themselves badly. I can do these movement easily because I have been doing yoga, Tai Chi and other sports for years. But how about 95% of people? He must have shown simple or beginner version of them too. Instead he says I don't want you to bend your knees, or do this or that! The explanation says this doctors has helped numerous patients. I don't think anyone with physical problem can do any of these stretches the way he persists to be done. Having said that, this video is great for advanced athletes with fit and flexible body.

What animals do is called “pandiculation”, which humans do too - involuntary stretching of soft tissues (when you get up from bed in the morning, or even yawning). I look at stretching as improving mobility, to achieve full range of motion in all my joints. I remember having to clip my grandma’s toenails because she couldn’t reach them 🤮😂
