Morning came a little early today Woke me up when I wasn't ready Creeping, in through the window I guess It came in quite while I was sleeping I'm dreaming my way through the rain today Now the clouds have moved inside But it's alright Well I'm not superstitious So I grab an umbrella Sit on down and get washed away Na na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na And I'll sing till the rain is gone One hour ago it was raining Sunshine I never thought I'd see your face Slowly I'll shake the cobwebs away It's alright by me if it's cool by you If it's all day long Singing like fools Na na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na And I'll sing till the rain is gone Yes I will, yes I will

A Amazing band that have many great tunes, very highly under rated Canadian band from Saskatoon EH. Why and My Old self are great as well. When The Rolling Stones actually pick you to open for them, well that is something. You can google that if you like.

Lol at first I thought your comment was saying that you thought this song was recorded live, but it was actually recorded in the mid-fifties, lol! XD But I re-read the comment and get what you mean now. Yeah, this does kinda sound like the band Live. Another song by another Canadian band that I always thought sounded like Live was "Superman's Dead" by Our Lady Peace. Do you know that one? Raine Maida sounds a lot like Ed Kowalczyk in that song.

I thought the lyric was “daddy’s downstairs drinking a beer” I could relate as I had an alcoholic father, but it’s “digging a grave”, now I’m like “huh?”

@@wyldstallyn2016 - I have a wild theory: what if it's symbolically referring to certain ancient mythologies where a fatherly god figure was "killed" and cast into the underworld where he(or she?...) became known as Death and is at least partly the basis for the modern concepts of the Grim Reaper and the Devil? Daddy(Death) is downstairs(in the underworld) digging a grave. "I AM become DEATH, Destroyer of Worlds!" "I looked, and behold, a pale horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth. The fourth and final Horseman is named Death." ... *humm the X-Files theme music here* The Truth is out there... Now you gotta wonder if I'm just taking the piss... but it makes sense no? ... :p

I am an old retired television audio engineer. I worked with WMM back in 1997 I believe. These guys truly impressed me back then and hearing this song brings back such good memories. They were completely professional, extremely talented and a joy to work with. Great stuff lasts.

Saw these guys back in 2001 with AC/DC in Nashville, TN, USA. They were dope live. They opened with "Why" and closed with "All it Amounts To". I had already heard them before because I watched MuchMusic before it became MMUSA, then Fuse. (I remember Strombo, Sook-Yin, and Ed the Sock, and had a huge crush on Rachel Perry (as well as Sook-Yin) haha.) Slash's Snakepit was supposed to open, but I guess he dropped out at the last minute, and they got WMM. After that, I bought their Self-Titled and Where I Started (then illegally downloaded a few songs off of "Stew" on LimeWire). I had to special order them at my local record store because not many people here in the states knew them. Been a lifelong fan ever since, and learned to play a few of their songs, including this one.
