I don't know if you will ever see my comment but I remember the first video of your room. I think it was one of 3 featured by Stamp and Storage. I fell in love with your organization, the way it looked so put together and how the colors of your supplies were beautifully used to enhance the beauty of the room. Your room has evolved but still maintains a sense of order and purpose - if that makes sense. SOOO glad to revisit your space. I still have light fixture 'envy'. Love that light over your space. Christine

@@cz5148 Hi Christine! Thanks for remembering the room from so many years ago. I’m so happy that that my craftroom has been able to grow with me. I’m glad that it still seems to have an order and purpose, but most of all it’s a colorful retreat. Really appreciate your sweet comment. 🥰

You remind me of an old colleague of mine. Her name was Annie, and I lived in Connecticut. I wish I remembered her last name. Do you have any family in Connecticut?

Beautiful room! If you were starting anew where would you start organizing? I have a brand new craft room coming and very anxious and excited! Connie- from Lake Conroe, Texas
@KeishaatThePaperMintАй бұрын
So exciting to hear about your new room, congratulations! For me, organizing starts with destashing. Group your supplies by category and get rid of the things that you should not carry forward into your new space. What you get rid of is personal to you, some items hold sentimental value, and only you can make the choice on what’s important. I do try to be honest with myself about whether I have too much of the same thing or if I haven’t used it after a certain period of time, will I ever use it? Good luck and crafty hugs! Keisha

Wow, thank you. While I realize you probably bought the lovely green fabric bins a few years ago, do you recall where you got them and per chance know if they are still for sale? I love that color and the multiple size options.

Hello! These bins are from a Martha Stewart storage line that I believe has been discontinued. I think they were purchased at Home Depot. 💚

beautiful room and colors. I love the organization BUT where did you get all the money. How do you justify so much expense? IMO you have gone "a little" overboard....unless you use it as a home-based business. This kind of dedication is more than just a hobby.

From one Keisha to another who spells our name right; you are a woman after my own heart. I’ve been talking about getting a craft room and/or she shed for the longest. But I became disabled in 2016 and my income was cut down severely. Oh well maybe I will be blessed to get a room that is a quarter the size of your palace. You are now my favorite person in my world. I would love to be your mentee or friend. Just to pick your brain about this and that, while sipping on some tea or cognac. It was a pleasure meeting you through your castle on KZbin. It’s awesome.

I gotta say- this makes my super hyper focused organization and cleaning tendencies very soothed, very happy- I am a painter, a crafter, but I can NOT focus if my space is in disarray (like you mentioned- too many things, production goes down!). That being said, I LOVE watching craft and studio tours, updates and clean ups. YOURS is absolutely the most pristine, clean, well organized video I have seen. Kudos to you, this is very deeply satisfying and I dig your style <3

Never seen someone with a sink in their craft room but it completely makes sense to have one dedicated to that room. Every time I clean stuff in our kitchen sink I always feel weird trying to make sure I don’t dirty anything else in there and figuring out a drying method that’s separate from everything else. I will definitely keep this in mind for the future. Currently home shopping so I’ll def be on the lookout to see if I can find a home to accommodate a separate sink for the craft room 😅
