this might work for a "Quick Fix" but i wouldn't recommend it for outside use(due to rain) and i would not recommend it for long term use because you can get RJ45 Female to Female connectors for inside use for dirt cheap

I've just snipped my outside internet cable today thinking it was my telephone cable! Shall i can my internet provider and say my broadband not working and act dumb??

I have wirless system . I want to convert to wired . I have NVR with biult in monitor. NVR with one port. 1 cam can be connected directly. But i have 8 cams . I buy TP link 8 port 10/100 mbp switch . I connect cams to switch and NVR but not working. Plz guide this need router or some configuration? If router needed so Internet needed or not ?

you NVR not PoE,single port to switch,i prefer PoE switch 8 port,if you use normal switch,use rj45B(use orange and green for data,and blue positif brown negative)This for camera,and for switch just termination like usual(rj45B)

hello, do you think this works for the new ip cameras that also record audio and are full color... do you think that by making this connection it would record audio or only give video?
