@@naughtymindz I won't diss the original FF7. The remake is a complete joke and destroys the original story. It's not a 'remake' it's a 'reimagining.' Let's just be honest and say what they should have actually called it. People wanted an actual remake, not some new story with time ghosts and stupid shenanigans with whatever this new plot is. I'll bet by the end of the game there's some twist where Sephiroth is actually the good guy or something too. What a load. And lemme guess, you either didn't play the original or didn't pay any attention to the story of the original, or not enough to really care either way because you're just impressed by whatever shines on the screen. Sure, the graphics are good, but I'm just saying, if they had kept to the original story, myself and many others would have been much happier and this wouldn't have been such a divisive game.

@@naughtymindz That may be a valid point. But do you realize the degree to which the time ghosts and everything to do with it alter the story itself? Most remakes do try to follow the same basic story beats, even if they differ in small ways. But here, i'll give you a prime example of following the exact same story almost 100% Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (Remake of FFT) The only things that were added were a few additional bonus characters, some spells, some abilities, and a couple additional Jobs to the Job system. One is Dark Knight and the other is Onion Knight. The story itself, however? Untouched. Every part of it was the exact same. The only thing they did was add in a few intermission fights to fill in some gaps but none of it altered the story in even the slightest way. You know why? Because it was a good story to begin with. It was, in fact, lightning in a bottle and if they'd messed with it, they'd ruin that. And they knew it. Now, I'm not going to call the original FF7 story lightning in a bottle in the same way, but I will say the story was good. And all I can see happening to it with this remake is it being bastardized. Despite everyone saying such, Cloud WASN'T some emo guy, he was just a mercenary and a bit of a goofball at times. The other characters were great. Tifa was good for her role, Aerith was good for hers, and they changed both of their personalities. Barrett was basically the only character that remained the same, but that's because the original creators based him on Mr. T, and that's a very hard concept to get wrong. Even Red13 and Cait Sith are done wrong. Cait Sith wasn't about to sabotage ShinRa operations before he decided to defect and help the group during their attempted executions. Even very inclusion of Sephiroth before getting out of Midgar was a mistake. Sephiroth, while in Midgar, was always mentioned with both high praise and an ominous inclination. Like he was a mysterious figure and a badass you never wanted to run into at once. What does the Remake do? Sephiroth is just SLAPPED in your face from the get go, in scenes that don't make sense. Even Yuffie appears earlier than she's supposed to. My point is, it wasn't a broken story, so it didn't need fixing. All they really needed to do was put a shiny new look on it, upgrade it from the pixel art. Add maybe a few things here and there without changing the overall story and personality of the characters, and voice act the characters. That's all. The job of the story was basically already done for them, they didn't need to do anything there.

Na season tower is best for xp but I agree that the non pvp is lacking
