As a Patriots fan I wish the best for him, stand up guy for sure. Good luck Dan!

I find it hard to believe that players on this team think Daniel Jones gave the team the best chance to win. Jones fails to see the field, fails to throw on time, holds the ball too long, plays scared, and seems confused more than half the time. He is not an NFL quarterback. Was he ever one? He came close. But he's been pounded so often that he has come to resemble David Carr.

Teams been bad since the end of Reese's tenure. I think ownership contributed to Jones playing longer than he should. Yes, Daniel‘s a nice guy, but that doesn’t win games. Because of who Daniel, we've held on too long to hope. Jumping over Locke, who cares. Locker room chatter is just that, lets see what Sunday brings!

Thanks Pat for your work. It is good, it comes to a end. I think, the contract was the worst soulition for everybody. It was not a real comittment, because it was a two year deal, and this year before the Commanders game(!) Shefter reported of possible benching because of the injury garanty. Jones played under pressure. He is not made for the big market. He needs more a enviorment, which few media. But he left classy as you can. Even one of his biggest critics with Dan Safety Orlovsky called it classy.

Sowing locker room discord to generate headlines is poor journalism. The better view would be to focus on how the team can improve and the tangible steps the coaching staff is taking toward that end. Top on my list, together with Red Zone inefficiency, is the dearth of interceptions and the defense's vulnerability to explosive run plays. Locker room chit chat belongs on a Page 6 gossip column.

DJ is a very good QB between the 20`s, but struggles with anticipatory plays in the Red Zone and is shaky when backed up near his own ecd zone. When you combine these deficits with his poor play at home and during prime time, some of his shortcomings are functional and others appear to be psychological.

Sorry, why didn't he restructure his contract so we could afford Barkley? Why did he hold out and Schoen had to franchise Barkley 2 yrs ago. Want to know why we get to watch Barkley run wild in Philly? here's the guy, right here. No thanks. Move on. He's crying all the way to his bank. people get fired every day from REAL jobs, and no one sheds tears of get eulogies.

Did the Giants drop him or did they at least train him? He honestly deserves better. The team has been absolutely atrocious year over year and it may have been a good thing for him to go through such hell with that team because you can see this year that he is a bit more confident, and comfortable under the immense pressure that ironically is not imposed by giants
@bawbq53058 сағат бұрын
Daniel Jones got thrown into the worst team by far in the league year over year. He’s actually not doing that bad and showing signs of being confident as well as feeling comfortable under the immense pressure that the “Giants”, for some reason are scared of.

Please tell me they traded Daniel Jones and they didn’t just release him or some bullshit. He deserves better.

He’s gonna go ape shit on another team with competent coaching, good o-line, etc. He puts his life on the line everytime he goes out there. This split is mutual. It’s gonna work out better for both parties

After Phil Simms went down in 1990, they passed over #2 QB Rutledge for 3rd stringer Hostetler to win their 2nd SuperBowl....Devito played well for a rookie behind that o-line and without Darren Waller until his last game....And in that last game against Philly, he threw a perfect pass over the middle to Waller that had TD written all over it, but Waller dropped it.

I hope he goes to a different team and Balls! Super genuine guy with a lot of pride! I think the organization failed him to be honest! And will fail every QB coming in after him specifically under Shane and daboll. Disgusting this organization has become! Worrying about injury garrqntee and they have no idea how the teams salary caps works by skipping over Lock and signing another QB to be 3rd just to put A DJ 4th! Organization is a fucking joke I’m disgusted whether it’s about DJ or not they need to go they failed so many players

The guy just ran away with $80 million bucks for 16 games going 3-13 and some on this forum act like teenage girls shedding tears just at the first sight of their tearful peers for hurt over not being asked to the prom! WTF! These pathetic dimwits forget that Jones has made half of what ELI made his entire career but only winning three games in the span of two seasons! Misplaced empathy ruins rational perspective like a chronic disease!

I must say I was disappointed in Jones during his contract negotiation after the 2022 season. Unlike Brady who took less to build a better team he played hardball to get the max he could. What difference is 160mil vs say 120mil. He's the main reason Barkley and X are gone this year imo. Gmen gave him every chance to succeed and he failed. Later hoser
