Hi, can anyone tell me if they've tried to ship luggage and to store them for like 3-4. Days in advanced? I was thinking to go from Tokyo to Sapporo for 4 days and ship my luggage to Osaka and fly from Sapporo to Osaka. But I'm not sure if they will keep the luggage for 4 days?

I stayed in Kyoto for five days and I think this spot was the most majestic panomaric spot besides Fushimi-Inari-Taisha. If you get there early in the morning about 8 a.m. - it's perfect. Only a few people, lots of space to visit and experience and of course silence. :) A lot of beautiful shots have a place in my personal archive now. :) Kyoto is such a beauty.

Do you have to be at your hotel when the luggage is delivered? Or do they deliver to the front desk and you can pick it up at your convenience? Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

Ask your hotel. Some will, but some will not. Some will if you have a reservation.

I’ve always liked sake. My Chinese relatives brought me a bottle of baijiu. Saying it’s the same thing. Before opening it, I’ve heard that it’s quite harsh. (I may re gift it, if that’s true, compared to sake) Any comments?
@eatlikealocal9 ай бұрын
Baijiu is distilled, whereas Sake is brewed. Baijiu generally has a higher alcohol content by volume, which some people find " rougher".
@billpetersen2989 ай бұрын
@@eatlikealocal Having tried it. It's as expected, similar to the harsh cheap alcohol, in many countries. Made by a big corp, for the disenfranchised. Better for the lawnmower, or as camp stove fuel.

It's quite different from sake in my experience. Sake is typically smoother

Guys quick question..if I'm sending my luggage from my hotel in osaka to Tokyo airport should I ship it 3 days earlier from what I'm reading ??
@LettersfromJapan Жыл бұрын
That would be prudent. It will probably only take two days, but you want the extra day just to be sure.

Page 168 As far as is known in written evidence, the earliest record of tea-drinking in Japan dates back to 729 A. D., in which year the Emperor Shomu is said to have invited one hundred Buddhist monks to drink tea in his palace.

Sake is basically sorta like moonshine
@restaurantman Жыл бұрын
Sake and Moonshine are fairly different from one another. Sake is a Japanese brewed rice beverage, similar in process to Beer. In terms of alcohol, it typically contains between 9-16% alcohol content which is more like wine than liquor. Moonshine is a distilled corn spirit that usually contains 40-60% alcohol.
