This figure is pretty much the same size as a smaller masterpiece figure and i like it.

What size sticker would you need for the chest?

The original basically had Sentai levels of articulation. The new one is more like the super mini-pla that have come out lately, just > 6" tall.

Almost perfect super ginrai i ever see Except ginrai torso it liitttle off but its okay.. The supet ginrai mode has everthing that super gjnrai look superb Bulky robot wiht propertional, have good detail. Even when i was a kid i want optimus prime has look like super ginrai even optimus eventualy become super ginrai.... Not super ginrai tought . He has defferent names..

Thank you for helping me make my mind up, Sovereign's look blows away Tyrant in robot mode which is the most important mode to me despite the ugly backpack. Galvatron's cannon treads should be attached to the back of the arms like on Sovereign, whereas DX9 has "cleaned up" something they shouldn't have. Also a lot of die-cast and Fanstoys signature transparent pieces (see Sovereign's chest) close the deal. There's a lot to like about Tyrant, but it's Sovereign for me

Had sovereign sold it prefered dx9 the face sculpt on dx9 is galvatron better proportions sovereign looked too compact chubby if you get my drift the cannon in dx9 arm looks great the tank tracks I think look better on the back on the arms they look impractical more weight to lift dx9 alt mode looks spot on.

I got the straight takara tomy copy MP Megatron and I know there's better versions of it but I'm still very very happy with mine

Dx9 looks better in cannon mode Fan toy is better in bot mode for Me it depends which way will you Mostly display him cannon or bot?

The commander truck cab is hollow when in truck mode. The Masterpiece is solid. The shoulders on the Masterpiece compress better as opposed to the commander class.

Not bad comparison.....I would have liked the Commander class UM to have a larger head. It just seems a little small

It's very nice, like for a triple changer, the robot and vehicle mode are top notch and do serve their purpose well. The bird mode is bit too chicken A lot could have been done with some sort wing span extension, sliding joints and by scarifing the missile - make it transform into a tail or even split, which no company seems to be willing to for some strangely deep rooted attachment to G1 look. - Just a tip to the maker of this and future versions or 4th parties making addons.
