oh my gosh.... they look like chopped up meat. You need to change the colour of the red..... not a good looking soap.

First time I've seen someone add the FO as such an early pause when everything is so hot? Does it not evaporate or burn off?

No, not very much. If I waited for it to cool down, it would be nearly impossible to incorporate. That's a pretty big batch and already hard to stir! Any evaporation is minimal.

The crockpot? Just a regular crockpot. They don't last a long time, the lye will etch it. But it will work, just don't ever use it for food after that 😁
