I cut a large paint stir stick down to 7 inches rounded off the ends and use it to press in the double seal.

We did the same thing in May 2021 - I never jumped so quickly on the high side! Somehow we didn't get pinned or flip (big heavy boat), but got flushed to the left, through a scary hole along the rock. We then spent 20 min trying to get out of the keeper before almost flipping hitting the lower wall as well (went hard, straight into it). I think a bit less water than here (not brown anyways). Bedrock remains etched in my memory 😮😂

Curious about your height and weight. I’m looking to decide between the XP9 and XP10, but I’m 6’4 175lb, which on paper means I should get the 9. Also considering the Katana. Did you look at any other crossovers when you picked up the Remix?
@liquidadventuring5 ай бұрын
I'm 6'1" and 190 lbs. The deciding factor for you maybe your foot size. The XP10 has plenty of foot room. Can you find a retailer where you can try both models?

I agree with you when it comes to fully able-bodied boaters. However, this was a Team River Runner trip which is a non-profit that supports veterans with disabilities, so we have an organized system of safety boaters trained and equipped to provide rescue assistance whenever necessary.
