just curious, i watched one of your videos that was posted 5-6mnths ago of why someone should consider studying in the US, 3mnths later you post another content of why someone shouldn't study in US anymore. will you be posting why someone should reconsider studying in US again in the future?

I have worked as a software engineer but currently I am working as a business advisor in a startup .. I want to switch into product management but I am extremely confused... should I complete mba in india or i should do mim from USA ? What would you suggest as an international student?

No US has fed up people coming from third world countries to settle through their jobs instead of these people building their own countries. And greedy employers who are in government or politicians want cheap labours so they can make more money and use these people instead of US born and educated regardless of the race and background.

It's not just the USA but the whole world has seen a drastic reduction of Jobs in tech. The 2020-2022 boom was crazy while it lasted. In US the layoffs happens like crazy plus hiring an immigrant has became difficult just like the UK.
@sanskritilamsal3 ай бұрын
Agree! India is also seeing record high employment. Where i am from - nepal there is not much jobs either. :(

I didn't watch the full video but the point of this video based on the title is probably wrong respectfully, because America, like any other country, has ups and downs. Yes, the whole tech craze is gone and maybe never will be like 2010, but eventually it will be steady again and there will be plenty of jobs probably for computer science. And also, there is no close place to America if you get the opportunity to study just because of how big it is
@sanskritilamsal3 ай бұрын
I just wanted to make students aware that its not how it was 2 years ago. But I agree that America is the land of opportunity still! And the best place to immigrate to. But its extremely hard right now to get a job. Maybe wait 1-3 years and get experience in Nepal and come back later?
@sanskritilamsal3 ай бұрын
If you just want to study here and don’t care about working here to pay off the loan, then the video doesn’t apply :)
@SportsUniqueFootage3 ай бұрын
@@sanskritilamsal then 100% agree. i work in tech, but yes i have heard it is way different than when COVID started, and even 10-15 years ago.

@@SportsUniqueFootage America still has a lot of job opportunities and vacancies and labour market shortages right now except for international students. Immigrants and citizens get a good deal because of the labor shortages.. most Americans are going for tech and healthcare jobs this days because they get a lot of funding from many sources to study. Just wanted to let you know they would hire a American or a green card holder over a international student..
@SportsUniqueFootage3 ай бұрын
@@livinghope1561 yeah i agree and that's true but that's also common sense. i think that goes for basically every country.

My friend is working in one of tech giant on STEM OPT. He graduated this year (PhD) and his F1-visa has expired in June. His company filed for his H1B but it did not got picked up. He needs to visit India this December and for rentering to US he needs to renew his F1 visa. How safe is it for him to renew his visa or are there some other options available for him while staying in United States.
