Ram truck is a top-notch truck for excellent and dependable consumer reports. I was a huge fan of Ford for years and I had so many issues with the Ecoboost engine repairs. Ecoboost has a problem with water collection into the engine that stalled it. I rather have 5.0 liters over 2.5 Ecoboost.

Don't put a cold air intake like this guy is selling. You will just pull more hot air, the temp sensor which is in the stock box won't read right and you will get less torque. If you need a bigger box, get an s&b or an a.i.s.(ford product) to replace the stock bix. Both of those incoporate the temp sensor and use the front snorkel along with the side opening next to the bix. This will ensure you get the proper air temperature into the motor.

What about the lesser known Vortec 8.1 L big block?

I’m getting map sensor symptoms but not getting any map sensor codes. I have gotten fuel is too rich and misfire on cylinder 6. Truck runs fine unless I have a load or I accelerate too fast. Truck will start jerking/shaking and will lose power, Engine light will blink. When I let off gas and and either coast or come to a stop the light will stop blinking and truck back to normal

Is it possible to get no error codes when this issue occur. I have same symptoms with my car, but diagnostics does not show anything at all and there is no warnings on dashboard. I was driving the car, at one point I have put my foot off the gas paddle to slow down and then put my foot on the gas paddle again, just a little bit and noticed it does not accelerate like it works on 2 or 3 cylinders or like its stuck in higher gear. But it did not. When I stopped on red light it barely moves and. It also rough idles. We have already checked injectors and camshaft, everything works perfect. For Injector we basically replaced the ones we suspected to be bad. I have 1.6 hdi Peugeot 508 88kw 2017

Would just test driving with the forward O2 sensor removed stop or noticeably improve the misfire and acceleration low power issue since a lot of the back pressure is a bit relieved? ( Assuming a clogged cat is the problem}

What's your opinion on JB4 piggyback voiding a warranty? I just bought a 2021 330i with 30k miles on it and bought an extended warranty. I really want to do a tune but im afraid if something happens BMW will be able to look into logs and notice changes in boost, timing, etc. They say that the JB4 can be removed "without a trace" but i don't know if i believe that.

I have P0401 code coming after ~30mi and try to clear it. The car is 2001 Saturn SL2. I was referenced to this film in another film of your channel "How to Fix a P0401 Engine Code!" I find it very helpful, a lot of useful information. On this car I did everything you advise, including Fuel Pump replacement. I suspect now Power Brake Booster (or Booster itself or its Vacuum Hose). Though it can be dirty EGR Valve passages. I think it is not possible to clean them well, unless you remove the Intake Manifold. Please could you tell with what solvent it is better to clean the Booster Vacuum Hose (I couldn't find a new one for that car). And is it possible just to make another new hose fm/a hose of corresponding diameter? I mean just to cut a new hose. Thank you again.

Good video. How much pressure were you using? For N54/N55/S55 engines, you are supposed to block off the PCV port at the top of the intake port when using media blasting to prevent media from going up into the PCV system. Anything that gets into the PCV system will end up getting sucked back into the intake port and it will go through the engine. The PCV ports are blocked by inserting a thin piece of metal like a feeler gauge between the valve cover and the cylinder head. It's another step, but it's in the official BMW procedure, so it should not be skipped.

I had a tick for 10 secs on my 2019 Ram. Yesterday I replaced a broken bolt on the muffler pipe. Right at the clamp before the muffler. Passenger side. No more tick… I was leaning towards manifold bolt. Exhaust pipe was the tick issue. Put your hand on it after it starts and you can easily feel the air coming out at the clamp.

Now i can be wrong but I’ve heard the L96 is the closest thing you can get to a Lsx block
