Awesome trip to the past my Brothers and I all went thru the Troop in the Late 60s for them and 70s for me. This time frame would have had me near the end of my Eagle quest. Saw pics of myself at the Tree lot, Lost Valley, Catalina and the Sierras. Remember so many fun times and the knowledge ive used the last 45 years.Great friends that i haven't seen since Highschool. Kirk Caverly, Jim Howard, Jim Sime, Tim McVay, Brent Fox and so many more I can't remember. Still have all my scouting awards. Was an honor and privilege to be in the biggest and best troop in Orange County.. Thank you for bringing back the events of a fabulous childhood.

Gary, do you have a list of the players? I went to VPHS from 75 through 78 and remember this album floating around Randy Colman's stereo cabinet in the band room.

Geoff.... I just now happened to see your note. (I didn't have notifications turned on.) I've put the album cover art in a Google Drive folder. Here's a link: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mwidkoXfhJu2_Htsh0a0-k2i0Rh5Aqkt?usp=sharing

BTW, to answer your original question, the performers are listed on the back of the album jacket. I did keyboards on one of the songs but was never credited. (Could've been because I wasn't actually enrolled the class that year.)

@@gkstone Thanks Gary! BTW: I played (bass) with Dave Wells for years at Santa Ana college. He passed away just a few years ago. I still play with his brother, Kirk. Dana Wheaton is teaching at OCC and my 21 yo son is taking a theory class from him. Chuck Jay took over the band at VPHS in 78 (my senior year), but was laid off do to Prop13. He ended up joining the Marines and flew helicopters for 20 years. When he retired form the Marines, he returned to music and ended up the band director at VPHS again. His last year there, my son got to have band with him (father and son with the same director). Chuck is now teaching the Tuesday band at SCC, where I also teach the Monday band. Thanks for the blast to the past!

Thanks for the video I graduated in 2011 but I actually love the 70s style to be honest. But I didn’t like the fact my locker had a nazi sign . I told the principal to paint over it .

Hello. May I ask how you have the pictures of Troop 33 of Tustin? That was my troop and I am in several of the pictures. I remember the Christmas tree lot very well, Lost Valley and the High Sierra trip, the bike trip to the beach. That was like 45 years ago.

Hey Stone, a hilarious find! So I scanned some old photos and sent to my Aunt Linda whom I spent a week with at Camp Oongo in 1970 when I was 15. I couldn't remember where the camp was, so I did a google search to see if I could find it, was led to these videos you posted. We became friends 3 years later in '73. What a friggin small world!

No way! That's a hoot. I started going there for summer camp with my brothers in '66. Later on, I worked there as staff ('73) and a couple of summers as a counselor ('74 & '76). In the mid-80s, the Camp Director asked me about updating the marketing/promo film I made in '76 so I started coming back during summer camp to shoot video of the program and kids. It was a big part of my youth so it was a blast to reconnect again. You must have come up during the church/family camp session. The place looks quite different now. There was a fire that came up the valley on the north side and took out a couple of cabins and a lot of trees. The family sold the camp in the early 90's but there's a strong core of folks who have organized reunions and have rented out the property for those events.

I went to Camp O-Ongo in 1972 as part of LBUSD's 6th grade program (Minnie Gant Elementary). I liked it so much, I went back the following summer. Tom Preston and his family created such an amazing environment for thousands of lucky kids over the years. Thanks for posting this amazing video. I feel like I'm reliving my childhood!

To live is more important than to die. Even with less hope or fortune. For a living dog is better than a dead lion.My name is Jennifer Garcia, I am 69 years old. It all started toward the end of the year 2018 when I was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis [ALS].I became a little child who does nothing but to depend on others for everything. I barely move my feet and hands myself. My son of blessed memory Anthony who passed on last year tried all he could to see me back on my feet but all his effort seemed impossible. The doctor said I will have to live like that for the few months I will spend on earth. The pastor gave me hope and prayers but it got to a time that I lost my faith as my health deteriorated. I began to await death by installment but on a fateful day when I went out for my normal therapy at the clinic, my very first boyfriend Stanley saw me in a wheelchair as my daughter pushed me in and he came with so much expression of disappointment on his face. He promised to go on a research on the internet to find if there is an alternative cure. He stopped at nothing until he discovered a post in google page by Darren Kent testifying how he got cured from ALS by Dr. Sani natural herbal remedies. We contacted him through his Email and WhatsApp. He told me that he has herbal healing remedies to cure not only ALS but also other incurable but management diseases. I believed or trusted him because I was left with no choice. I sent him money and He prepared his herbal mixture tonic, herbal cream and healing oil and sent them across to me.He gave me instructions which my daughter took seriously. After two weeks of treatment, I began to notice some great changes like I was able to talk clearly, eat, drink and move my hands and legs gradually. The third and fourth week I got cured.THE KEY POINT IS THAT I CAN DO THINGS NOW WITHOUT NEEDING SUPPORT OR BUGGING ANYBODY.Dr. Sani never asked me to advertise him but I think it’s what I should do to make our world a favorable and disease free one. Sharing is Caring. You can contact him today by E-mail: [email protected] or call his tel; +2348118184266. I so much love this Dr. Sani Hassan for I owe my life to him. He is so kind and polite. Thanks for viewing.
