I was tempted to try this, despite never eating McDonald's burgers. For me, it's just their fries or Egg McMuffin 🤷‍♂ Or a Quarter Pounder if, and only if I win one during Monopoly. But then I searched it, and found a review by a Vancouver site with such a sad, sad photo of it out of the box, that it just deflated my appetite for it. I know, marketing uses fillers, glaze, over-stuffed toppings or ingredients, and toothpicks (or mini sponges!) to position everything photo-forward, but this seemed like such a blatant disregard for reality! Having said all that, your sandwich out of the box seemed much more presentable, though certainly not photo realistic to either the TV ad, or the printed photo I've seen. This video alone has given me pause as to whether I should write it off entirely without a test try... 🤔 I was given a gift card recently that I would only otherwise use for tea while working, so the only real risk is indigestion. Thanks for your video and opinion on it!

You have cursed them by reviewing them! For vegan cake donuts. . . they were quite good. But with Empire a block away - I would always choose Empire. You should try Yonni's Doughnuts at Discovery Coffee, as well at the new Oso in the Bay Centre. I've had both recently. . . and found them both hella dry and disappointing. But maybe I caught them on a bad day. And yes, A&B Sound could be skeevy, but their 20% off vinyl/cassette/CD promotions were legendary - as were their Boxing Day sales!

I consider myself a donut connoisseur - I look forward to your next donut review. I consider Empire the gold standard in consistency and quality. Other donuts may be prettier, but they're never better. And usually drier. But that doesn't stop me from trying the competition.

I like Bin 4 and often try their monthly specials. Those didn't look smashy at all to me. . . but I would happily eat them. Especially during Happy Hour when a smash burger and side is $14 - most of their burgers with sides are now $23 or so. It wasn't so long ago the price was $16. I don't know about other people, but my income hasn't increased by 40% to offset that. Nothing against Bin 4, I know it's the same everywhere. I continue to enjoy your content - two pleasant people trying out local food - a great antidote to all the negativity on the internet and in the world today!

First Time Surprised the place was empty and ordered burgers with a friend. Asked for sauces on the side I eat only restricted sugar and they brought me a Caesar salad side order with no dressings unbelievable and sauce on the burger, I mean this waiter did not understand a word I said, the food came with a cold bun and lukewarm burger. I expect more for a $25 burger. Would not order there again
