I have always struggled to make brownies from scratch and have yet to have success. Thanks for sharing this recipe, I'm definitely going to try it and hopefully it will be the key I've been missing!

My mother bought me an egg similar to the one you made, when I was a child. I always wondered how the sugar held together , I toyed with the idea of using egg whites, though I never got down to actually doing it. My egg was manufactured by some confectionery Co. Very expensive, though a larger egg with a few sweets inside.
