It's not just Tamyra's voice that I find impressive, it's her entire stage presence. She uses the stage, her expressions and her gestures so brilliantly. I still can't believe she wasn't a huge success after Idol. She's not doing bad by any means, but I really expected some kind of commercial music success. She is still one of my favourite contestants of all time.

The review was really 4 parts: Tina, the Ikettes, Ike, and the entire review. The Ikettes were always really sexy and together were as much of an attraction as Tina alone. Ike put it all together and maintained it for years. Without him, Tina would probably just have remained Anna Mae Bullock. The movie portrayal of him was unfair. They didn't show how after he had cleaned up Elvis and Red Fox got him strung out again. Movies are Hollywood films created to make money, not detailed documentaries.

Tamyra was amazing and I still believe "A House Is Not A Home" was one of the best performances American Idol ever offered, but I saw Kelly as the winner from before we got down to the top 10. My opinion is that Kelly was consistent all the way through and didn't grow into the role of American Idol. She just was the American Idol.
