Oh I LOVED this Comedy! Too few period comedies have ever been made, and Keith Barron was made for this part! LOVED the way he flounced about like a ‘Lady’s Dressmaker’! LOL Cannot understand why this has not been released in the UK; I had to get it from the USA! But unfortunately, there’s a mass fault on the soundtrack of Season Two, and so I’m eagerly awaiting Network to release this.

Thank you so much for putting Brothers McGregor on you Tube. A most under rated gem, not available on DVD, for some reason. Peace and good health to you and yours. I hope you win the lottery.

Many thanks for the great channel, subscribed. I have a question, please, do you happen to have David Frost Show 1971? I've been looking everywhere for the episode (24 December, 1971) about ''Nicholas and Alexandra'', the guests were Franklin Schaffner, Michael Jayston, Janet Suzman, Tom Baker. It's unbelievable that no one knows what happened to this episode. Thank you so much.

Thi was indeed rare british tv and absolutely brilliant. On a par with Rising Damp and Allo Allo it is a criminal shame that only 2 series were made. Watching this for the first time has been a joy and I thank you for uploading it to KZbin.

Of the three shows Reece Dinsdale has on his resume - the office clerk in 'Tommy and Tuppence' and the son to John Thaw's character in 'Home to Roost' - this show is prolly the one he is the most enjoyable in. And let's not forget Sam Kelly, looking much younger than the Nazi officer in 'Allo, Allo'. CLOMP!

I know Reece Dinsdale has body dismorphic and this has limited his appearances on television. He is a television producer for Emmerdale. A few years ago he took a role on Emmerdale for about a year and he was brilliant. But they got lots of mail from people saying he had small eyes and he was ugly. It's this kind of mail that's made his condition worse. It's such a shame that he feels that way, and that these horrible people write into shows saying awful things about his looks. He said his appearance on Emmerdale will be his last acting role. On television anyway. These letters began years ago, as soon as he appeared on television. I think he's great.

No it's never been released for sale anywhere. All the episodes were recorded from the fairly recent TV broadcasts. Sadly even the broadcasts were not very good quality.

Many thanks for the wonderful uploads, great work! I have a question, do you have "There Comes a Time" series (1985) with Andrew Sachs, Robert Daws, or "Somewhere To Run" (1989) - TV film with Angela Pleasence, Robin Weaver, or "Adam's Family Tree" series (1997) with Anthony Lewis? Thank you so much and sorry for bothering with questions, I've been looking for these for so long, with no result. They seem to have completely vanished. 😥😥😥
@rarebritishtv833 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, can't help with any of those. There were only 7 episodes of "There Comes a Time" so it obviously wasn't a great success. I've never heard of it before. Included quite a lot of well known actors though.

@@rarebritishtv833 Thank you so much. If you ever find any of these please do tell. It's so strange that a classic series disappears like this. I would be so happy to purchase them if someone had a copy.

Lovely to see this again. I was one of the milk maid’s boys in the opening credits. Paid fifty quid to spend a day at Yorkshire Television studios and wear a three cornered hat. Sadly it was to be the start and end of my acting career.
