It was already an amazing build and then you just had to slap us with the gold leaf. You should be proud.

Amazing work. What do you use with the pigment? Water or just dry brush it on?
@DanielBignouxАй бұрын
Just dried brushed it on, I didn’t bother sealing it tho since the helmets are going to be indoors so I’m not concerned about it rubbing off

Your props are on another level good work.. I have a question regarding one of your older props the ray gun mk2 with the sound what sound module did you use and how did you get the lights to do that when they shot? Thanks

I’ve one the same but I change the circuit board to run arduino and changed the drivers to tb6600 , I had to rewire the controller which was a daunting task for me as I’m don’t have much knowledge in this field but good old KZbin came to the rescue and now I have it up and running again . One thing I would like to add and that is it’s a very sturdy machine.

Wow, I dont want to seem like a glazer but this may be the best suit Ive seen, I think it literally only has 2 minor issues that stop it from being actually 1:1 perfect. I think the chest either needs to be raised a little or made to be a little taller, and I think the undersuit needs a little more bending resistence to get how it folds to be more accurate, I think lining it with foam would make it just slightly bulkier and more solid looking when it moves. With those changes it would be identical to how it looks in the campaign, its already crazy though so these are basically nitpicks. This is amazing, I would love to see more footage of this.
@DanielBignoux8 ай бұрын
My friend who was a little bit taller was the guy in the suit so it looks a little stretched since the suit was made for my height. As for the undersuit, its made from silicone so it has that rubber look but also stretchy so you can move. It is firm enough that it doesnt flatten or fold the small details unlike fablic. A foam latex undersuit the same as artemfx would be the best option but I was restricted by time and cost. Ill save that idea for my future suits. I still think it came out pretty good for a home build

@@DanielBignouxit came out insanely good its excellent, should unquestionably be proud 👍

@@DanielBignoux Foam latex also deteriorates a lot faster than silicone or urethane rubber. The Foward Unto Dawn suit in the 343 museum is already breaking apart.

I picked up this machine during the pandemic off eBay, I got the 4 axis 3040 for 400$ which was a good deal. The planetcnc software has a issue. The manufacturer hacked it and used what I believe was the diy hardware instructions to make it work. I bought a license from planet cnc, and used zone alarm to block it from communicating with planet cnc. As they said it will self reset. Its been a few years, I like planetcnc's host software. I've made a opensource software/hardware project with info on my channel. You can add functionality like mql to the hardware and spindle control speed. Using the software project.

That silver sealer is just an Oxidant so that the water beads enable you to dry it quicker ;-) Good job, well done. I do Hydrochrome myself.

The best I’ve seen, your finishing techniques are next level, instead of dry brushing the entire thing with silver paint to simulate wear like everyone else, you do the liquid masking with the silver exposed underneath, how it should be. Amazing work on the visor too. Love it
