True story I live in Vancouver BC Canada - in 1993 I was a DJ & ended up at this party. I walked in the room and there’s aliens on the wall, like actual HR GIEGER art and paintings all over. They were all real sculptures and it was a this goth mansion. I meet this dude and he introduced himself to me and said “Welcome to my home my name is OGRE NEVIK….” 😂

Why the promoters chose this slot for SP is beyond me. People who saw this missed out on the actual stage show. Which btw was killer. Toronto show was epic!!!

This is truly an anomaly amongst the history of SP live performances. Their visual stylistic range is unrivaled and the sound is always impeccable. I saw them in Charlotte 2023 and the only thing I was disappointed in was it needed to be much louder. Matthew’s enthusiasm to be part of this experience is invigorating and properly reflects the warranted appreciation for CEvin and Ogre. His technical mastery of the material and his high level of professionalism in performance also shows he honestly earned the position.

He’s manipulating the video feed, as he did from time to time during the full stage shows of the tour. There’s a live feed camera on his video controller too being fed into the video.🎉
